Rockboy21 Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 Hey up everyone, I'm new to this site. I have a Sinnis Max 2 125 which I really enjoy riding, I stay up near the Isle of Skye on the West coast of Scotland and have some amazing roads to ride around. My bike failed it's MOT last week on there not being enough dampening on the front forks, so I went online and bought fork seals which apparently are for my bike. I've taken the old seal out and measured the new seal but it's slightly wider, now that's not right is it? Should the seals not be the same diameter, because I'm never going to get them into to forks otherwise or an I missing something. Cheers guys. Quote
husoi Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 If you check the seals, and they are of a reputable brand, it should have either the dimensions or a reference number. The new ones should match the old ones and be the same size or near enough. Some pics would help to give a more accurate advice. Quote
RideWithStyles Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 some old ones shrink and crack as they loose oils and harden up. 2 Quote
