Hi guys, in the process of doing my DAS and wondered if there were any active bike groups around the bradford area? The forum seems pretty quiet in this sub catagory but would be cool to get some miles in as a group and meet a few faces......As it stands I'll be a solo rider for the forseeable future

There was some a couple of years ago in the area but most were dealer/bike shop based that ain’t trading anymore.
Facebook might be a chance? Id go riding out towards known bike stops and just get talking to people - the oldschool way.
Skipton, grassington, patley bridge, risplith, Devils bridge Kendal, settle, hawes, leyburn. Those sort of places.

tbh Facebook is the best place online to find local groups to ride with. There are loads where I live - half a dozen or more. I actually went along to ride that one of them had organised, and although it was great fun and had a good brisk pace, too much of it happened well over 90 for my ease of mind. It was all safe enough, just that I like my licence too much to do that very often.

I best make myself a facebook account then ay! Despite being below 40 I'm still not a fan of this face collection malarky with "friends" that are often people ypou met once or know the name off.

Will sort that and have a scope around

Cheers gents

Pack mentality / competiveness is a quick licence looser. I'm terrible at ignoring a chance to have a blast when the situation arises. Even in an average car its all too easy to be doing over a ton
