JTDG Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Been looking to get some jeans for myself, finally settled on RoadSkin as there product by far feels the best and most comfortable. The only thing I’ve noticed with all the jeans I’ve tried is, I’m a big guy, so when they size up, the ankles are massive and way too baggy. (I have tucked them into my boots, but even then, still too much excess material) Has anybody had any success taking lined jeans to a tailor to get them tapered? Or anybody have any suggestions on DIY fix? Quote
S-Westerly Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Not really but I see no reason why they can't be adjusted - for a price. These days I only wear single layer jeans as they're way more comfortable and easy to adjust particularly if it's just leg length. 1 Quote
Nick the wanderer Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Hi, yeah if you have a look at your locals there is always someone advertising alterations, there is round here anyway. Worth a few quid to get them fitted right. Or of course get yourself a sewing machine and have a go yourself. Turn them inside out and run a new seam to size. 1 Quote
