Veggie Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 Hi everyone , I’ve just bought a Bullit Hero , getting used to riding it , i know its slow but at 6 2 its a good bike for me to start with . I would like to change the mirrors , seem slightly too small and they also vibrating loose . Could anyone suggest a good alternative to replace them with, just a little bigger and easier to adjust ? Thanks Veggie 1 Quote
Nick the wanderer Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Hi, welcome. There are loads of aftermarket mirrors available. If you measure yours then get an idea of what you need then go shopping! Be aware of the thread sizes for your bars and also whether they are left handed or right handed threads. Ebay is a good place for window shopping that sort of thing. Oh if you bought the bike new the ones you have may just need tightening up. Good luck! Quote

Old-codger Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 The original mirror was probably cheaply made and not very rigid, there are plenty of after market mirrors out there first check what bolt or thread size holds your mirror on then start your search. Probably something with a better more substanstial mount and thicker shaft. If you are getting vibration through the bars trying different bar end weights and see if it helps. Quote
RideWithStyles Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Thread locker will work a dream, Also heavier bar end weights help a lot. Quote
