zee-659 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I've recently got a motorbike and i was just wondering how people find fellow biker friends? Do you guys just go up to random bikers on the street is it through groups or meets up, for context I live in Southampton and am 19 years old so would prefer to find people that are a similar age to me Quote
Punts Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Forums, bike meets, local dealers or biker friendly coffee shops, you need to visit these places and just get talking to people. If you visit places often enough you see the same people each week and get to know them. Your local dealer might tell you of people with similar bikes and age and where they meet up. The link is for bike meets in your area. Biker Friendly Places Southampton | Cafes, pubs, hangouts, etc... 1 Quote
Fiddlesticks Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I was at the Tap in Eastham yesterday and they had flyers for this online space. Looks kinda interesting... https://www.bikershangout.co.uk/ 1 Quote

bonio Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I've been on a couple of rides with groups on fb. Mostly grumpy old men with perma-scowls (credit to @ChrisBiggsUK for that addition to the lexicon) but some younguns there too. Worth a try at least. 1 Quote
bud Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I know a few years ago Southampton did a really popular bike night in the summer. Used to quite often see some younger kids there on 125's. And a group used to turn up on groms. Quote
