Aland Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Hello does anyone have a link to show how to remove a throttle body for 2010+ , I can't find one anywhere. Thanks Quote
S-Westerly Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Would be helpful if you said what type of bike it was. 1 Quote
RideWithStyles Posted February 10 Posted February 10 with a question like that I think you should Get a mechanic to do it for you, better for everyone. If you don’t want to heed the advice - Haynes manual or manualslib.com Quote
Capt Sisko Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) Reading your previous posts it's pretty obvious you have no mechanical knowledge. Now that's not your fault, we've all had to learn and good on you for taking those first steps, however a throttle body is a seriously important link in the control of a motorcycle and not to be messed with by the inexperienced. Sorry if that's putting it a bit blunt, but screw it up, the throttle jams open whilst you're riding and you're in a world of deep shit. If you have a problem with it which isn't very obvious (which we've got to assume is the case otherwise you wouldn't be asking), best to either let a mechanic or someone with a lot more experience take a look at it. BTW, what was the problem with your starter motor? Edited February 10 by Capt Sisko typo Quote
RideWithStyles Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Agree with Capt. Another thing it might not be the throttle bodies that are at fault but you go round screwing with it and making another problem to deal with. Its a classic YT video for a mechanic…just rolled in, he tried to fix it himself. this is why you have that old garage joke: wanting it fixed £45ph, if you tried to fix it yourself before hand £90ph…... All leads to assuming. Quote
