RideWithStyles Posted Sunday at 23:24 Posted Sunday at 23:24 It wasn’t done properly would be the first thing. so list of many possibilities: old seal/gasket/shite still on. not correct or cheap gasket. Not correct or fitted correctly. bolts not torqued In orientation or correctly. Bolts not correct or in the correct hole. Cover or main body warped or uneven. 1 Quote
husoi Posted yesterday at 06:57 Posted yesterday at 06:57 Although Yamaha is well know for its leaking issues I'm with @RideWithStyles. Sounds like the job wasn't done properly. Remains to see if by doing it wrongly they didn't bent the cover and it won't seat properly anymore. I would use a smear of gasket paste together with the normal gasket for added sealing 1 1 Quote
