Hi I’m Jess and I just bought a Yamaha enticer 123 I’m new to bikes so I have no clue what I just bought but it doesn’t run but it’s because of something called a crank bearing I tried searching for a crank bearing for it but all that showed was a crank shaft and a bunch of bearings that don’t say enticer I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice on what part I actually need sorry if I sound stupid I’m just trying to get my first bike up and running

It's a 125 and it's probably a very common shared engine with many of the 125 Yamaha bikes

Sorry if this is going to burst you bubble of enthisuasm, but you've probably bought a dog in need a trip to the vets, possibly it's final trip. Crankshaft bearings are what allow the internal rotational parts of the engine (in this case the crank, which then has the conrod & piston attached to it)) to spin whilst attached to the none rotational part, i.e, the engine casing. The illustration isn't from your bike, but the principle is the same. I've highlighted the Crank Bearings and as you can see the other components spin on the said bearing. Obviously there's a bit more to it than that and of cousre these bearings can be replaced, but it's an engine out, split the engine cases and specialist tools job to extract & refit the beating. Doable but no cheap.

Would the Crank bearings cause it not to start ? I dunno don't think so

I wonder does the op have contact with the previous owner to get more info as I suspect they may have picked it up wrong ( possibly )

Sorry I'm not being insulting I just think you might save yourself tearing in to the engine if it's not needed
