I went today. Had been saving all year.

Got an Arlen Ness 2pc (LJ5080 LP5081) and 1036 boots for £525 which I think is a bargain considering the prices I got from Google.

Also got a boat loads of Knox stuff, including a back protector, a new lid and some other bits and bobs.

Seem an awful lot!

Although I don't know how much boots cost, haven't really bothered looking at them.

I think that price included his leathers as well.... Well I hope so!!!

According to the google prices the boots go for £139-£180. Jacket £300 and trousers £260.

I got the whole lot for £525 which although not a big bargain, I still saved a few hundred at most, in everything I got yesterday.

oh ok lol,

I was gonna say!

I wouldn't even consider getting boots if they cost that much!

I ended up getting a Shoei XR1000 for £159, as it was the last one in hooge head size :)

Funniest thing was, it was the first stand I went to. Wife then trawled around other stands trying to see if it was cheaper. (I must remember to do the same when she goes clothes shopping - not!!!)

It fits much better than the AGV I've been wearing for the last few months.

Tried on one of the Schuberth flip front helmets and nearly passed out when I tried to take it off. Severe pressure on the temples.

f**k that for a game of soldiers!

Some of the stuff on the J+S stand looked poor, but if you wanted a set of cheap track days leathers, £80 was a snip for a 2 piece.

Apart from the roadworks on the A42 southbound, I really enjoyed the day and so did the wife. Means I have to take her again. :(
