Paul Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Not biased or anything but........from the Ducati site; The 1098 R is the ultimate Superbike. The most advanced, most powerful twin-cylinder motorcycle ever. Built with the single objective of winning, it powered Troy Bayliss to victory in the World Superbike Championship in its debut year. Now it has been improved even further. Quote

Guest Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 But that all just serves to make it unsuitable and therefore pointless for everyday on-road use.As extreme as a Lambourghini is there's still room for a couple of bags of shopping from Sainsbury's. Quote
Paul Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Who is mentioning day to day use? This is the original question....; Just wondering which out of the great but affordable superbikes out there at the moment you would buy if you could? There are plenty of people who use sports bikes out there for their daily commute. Even the 1098's. Quote
