SuperMe79 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I think the Daytona 675 is the best plan! I bought one in June and it's awesome! Quote

Guest philgale Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 iv had a bandit 600s and an sv650 sport, much prefer the sv...bandit is a good all rounder, i used it for everything, went to work on it took the odd pillion.....only problem is its far too easy to scrape the pegs sv is the best bike i have had upto now.....handling is much better than the bandit, easy to ride, two up riding is fine not had a problem with that...go for the sv, but i have never heard anything bad about the fazer....decisions decisions Quote
Christoph Posted November 25, 2008 Author Posted November 25, 2008 So... i took the plunge at the weekend and bought a 07 SV650s with the full fairing - gets delivered on Friday. Was tempted to go new, but this only had 1300 miles on the clock for a year and half old with second service done as well. Tank protector will go straight away... it's bad.Insurance so far: Comp £750; 3PFT £265 but have yet to play off again each other. Thanks for everyone's advice.http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?id=1695http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?id=1696 Quote

Delboy Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Nice looking bike mate, i;ve got the Bandit 650sa and love it , but i am nearly 50 and quite happy just pondering along on the Bandit ,think if i was younger the sv would be my choice. Quote
Christoph Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 A few more (dirty- not in that way!) pics So chuffed... love it! Quote
nman1 Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Opted for the Bandit cus it was my first bike and it was good value for the amount of bike you get. Not having ridden anything else I cannot compare the bikes you`ve chosen, but I find the bandit (faired version) very easy to ride and forgiving for a beginner. I now how the 1250 SA version and the more power is fantastic. See if you can arrange some test rides, preferably when the roads are dryer and have noc ice.My old baby at 2 hours old Quote
