I`ll meet at Webbs guys as I`m not sure what time I`m setting out and I don`t want to hold people up. Will be at Webbs for 9.30 though.

Let us know what it`s like for the dommy do.

Good food (a bit more 'posh' than we are used to), good service, nice decor.

Just has a look at the possible routes from ours to skegvegas, we have a nice choice.

We could do the southern route and meet up with you guys in Boston or the last bit of the A52 if ya like. Let us know what you think.

Our route is probably going to be (Clay Cross - could meet peeps at clay cross powersports, Mansfield, Newark, Sleaford, Boston, skegvegas).

Mark, if we leave Eye at around 9.45am ish we should be at Boston by around 10.15 to 10.30 (dependant on if we don`t get lost) :D There is a round-about on the A16 / A52 junction (Junction of Spilby Road and Wainfleet Road) we could meet there if not too early for you. Should be quite a big group by the time we get to Skeggy.

Neil, I dont think we will be there until about 1100 - 1115 mate, let us know if this is ok.

Mark, I`ll ask around early in the morning on the day and text you, can you pm me your number or text me it. I`ve got a feeling some want to get back reasonably early as Martin has to work and Sam has got to get back for her kids. If OK we could hang around at that round about until you get there.

I'm not fussed either way, I reckon leave about 09:45am route planner gives 57 mins to get to Boston so I reckon we could hang on there for half hour easily then all ride in together A16/A52 roundabout.

We'll get there as soon as we can...legal speed limits and traffic permitting

Get the biccies out Vix!

Hi all,

Going to join in with this one, let me know the times.

I've got a caravan on the Butlins site so if any one wants to bring a change of clothes or whatever then let me know. We can go to the van first or even leave the bikes there.

Due to the fact that I am further east to every one else I was thinking of joining in before or at Boston, just remember the A52 is 50 MPH at max all the way. Its some times quicker to go the other way, no speed cams and 60 MPH limit.

Cheers

Sorry folks we can't make it now.

Derek was rushed to hospital this afternoon after blacking out and pain in his head, neck & arm.

They have sent him for a ct scan with came back clear (clear of what I don't know) but are keeping him in for more tests tomorrow.

I'll keep you updated as & when.

Have a great day tomorrow!

Be good to meet you Dave! I know Neil is not online, but I'll tell him at Webbs in the morning :) We leave about 9:45am from Peterboro running up to Boston and looks like the weather is gonna hold for us 8-) 8-)

Nice one Dave, we got home about 6:25pm. Excellent day will do my take on it after I've done my Night shift tonight

Yes must admit it was a great day out and a good run for the bike. 175 miles in total so not too long. Dave, next time we do a run we must seriously get our heads together on time and meeting place. Sorry we did not meet up (again). Thanks for some great company guys, I had a laugh. Cheers Vicki for allowing us to use your room as a store. Good to meet up with everyone else, Penny, Mark, Tracey and all the gang from the willy wood run.

Know what you mean Neil anyhow my take on yesterday:

All week the pesimistic people amongst us had been forecasting a wet Sunday, so much to my delight to wake up to blue skies and sunshine, slapped on the factor 30, received a text from Darren are you going? Course I am stupid boy! Met up with Darren at our usual place and blasted to Webbs at Eye to meet Neil and we were ON TIME  much to Neils amusement. Sam, Sam & Dave arrived and then the usual arguement of who would lead the way and which route? In the end muggins volunteered to lead the group.

Set of from Webbs, bade farewell to Tracey who wished us well (Glad to hear your on the mend Derek) and we opted for the direct route to Spalding then picked up the A16 to meet up with Willow & Akey. We made good pace and pulled up at the garage on the A52...... or so we thought. Willow & Akey were making good time when sitting in the sun and discussing with Neil where they would be when Neil said 'Google Earth never showed a garage on this roundabout' It was then I realised we were actually on the A17 not the A52 so panic stations as we all bundled our gear back on and set of towards Boston, lots of camera's and we were being good until we passed a cop car that decided to put on his blue lights as we went passed, I thought it was for my Dark Visor, Gubba thought it was for him speeding but we never saw copper again, panic over!

We got to the A52 nowhere to stop so we headed on to skeggy, what a crap road that A52 is yawn a minute. We got there about 11:30am and about 5 minutes later Akey & Willow turned up so we were not to far apart after all

MCN Live was ok glad we had 2 for 1 tickets, Met Vicki, we met Bob the Builder complete with a Hitler Moustache    the trade stands tbh were shocking, very poor for a bike weekend, the hovercrafts were.... well on wheels! Stunt show was ok but tbh the company was the part that made the day for me

The competitive TMBF streak surfaced as Gubba, Neil, Akey & myself took each other on at superbike racing in the arcade and with the stakes high, I took the honours :boxing: Neil demanded a re-match so next it was the Arabian Nights camel derby in which Neil took the honours to win a cuddly snake

We then went and met up with the lot from Willingham woods who refused to pay to get in (don't blame them) and was good to meet TC from the chatroom and Dan and The Wife again.

Dark clouds from the coast made our mind up to set of home and a good ride home in the sun as we arrived back at Ely about 6:20pm.

Thanks to Vicki for allowing us to dump all our clutter in their room and thanks to all the people who gave me so many laughs, looking forward to the next event which is........... ? ? ? ?

Answers on a postcard please :D
