Guest akey Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 From the organiserAfter the overwhelming success of RTTW 1 the decision to hold the event again in 2009 was not even debated. The money raised was in excess of £10,000 and in 2009 we hope to double this figure. I hope you remember your experience from last year, and that you have recounted it on many occasions and in many different forums. It is hoped that you will attend again this year, and in doing so in years to come you will be able to recount with pride that you were there from the start. Your support will enable RTTW to become an institution and continue raising money as well as awareness for those that laid down their lives in modern times, so that we are able to ‘ride free’. If you wish to register all the information is on the website http://www.rttw.org and be assured that all profits will go to the maintenance and upkeep of the National Memorial Arboretum, and more specifically the Armed Forces Memorial. Along with your registration you may wish to purchase merchandise for which I thank you. All profits from the merchandise will also be going to the NMA. For 2009 we have been given a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which again will add to a memorable day. Thank you again Martin Martin P Dickinson Founder RTTWwillow and I should be attending (work permitting), it was a superb event last year and well worth every min.http://www.rttw.org/
