Guest Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Leathers are tricky, especially for girls I think...but even more so if you are a tall girl..I'm almost 6ft tall and the girlies leathers are waaaayyyy too short - seem to be made for midgets so I had to make do with blokes leathers but guess what...the trousers fit fine - fortunately I have no hips to speak of and an apology for an arse - but the top, well let's just say it makes one's chest look like a squashed cushion that someone shoved in! LOL...one day I will have a set made to my exact measurements with one of my nicknames emblazed on the back!!CheersCath Quote

rennie Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I've got an almost brand new pair of oxtar boots that I was given, I can't get on with them. I usually wear a cheap pair of Akito boots, they haven't got a heel, the first time I wore the oxtars, they have a small heel, I got to the end of the drive, came to put my foot down, and couldn't!!!! I ended up leaning against the fence. I also can't change gear properly in them cos they've got no give in them to get my toe under the lever and they squeak, spines up the back similar to vertebras. Guest Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Best treatment for leather I have found is RENAPUR it seems expensive for small tub but it lasts ages a does a brilliant job. Look it up on internet Quote

Sounds like the same boots, I agree they are very stiff but I'm hope they will break in over time. Just wish they would stop squeaking Quote
