Seems that the council have got an issue with the bikers parking on the promenade road and some of the businesses have complained...a few folks were walking about with clipboards to gather a petition about something to do with it so i signed it..not to sure wot i signed for..  ...

Spoke to the organiser of Weston Bike Night today, A complaint has been submitted by one fish and chip vendor further down the prom saying that the road closure is affecting his trade. The fact is that this chippie closes at 1800 which is the same time that the Bike night starts and has refused to serve people after 1730 as he wasn't going to start more cooking due to his closing time.

If you are asked to park on the grass ask for a sidestand puck you will be given one at no cost to yourself and if you want you can even take it home with you.

BTW So far this year there have been no less than 3 rumors going around that the Bike Night is being closed down, they are all false. Weston Council fully support the night so much so that the months extention last year and the continuation of the nights into September this year are at their request.

Thank you for signing there are in excess of 800 signatures. And please continue to support the night, it is all for a good cause.
