Chimera101
this should possible be in the bike section but I wasnt sure so im putting it here.I'm just wondering if there is any way to tell if a bike is restricted, if it is supposed to have been de-restricted.I have no idea what to look for on the bike, but im told that mine was de-restricted just wondering if there is any way to check (once it comes back from being repaired)oh and its an 1997 er-5cheers
JoshRS
Just go for a ride and open it up. If the revs begin to retard as they're higher, it'll be restricted. But if you can reach the redline without the revs slowing down dramatically then it'll be derestricted. Bill_on_a_bike
If you're happy to do a bit of light dismantling, seat off, tank off, carbs out, check for plates, and back together again.
