  1. But Tango said you already had the pointy hat and the broomstick????
  2. I did say this was a task for the young (and therefore stupid) Rach...I, like Tango are far to worldly wise to wind up the women folk....I know who butters my bread (and what might be in it if I overstep the line)...lol
  3. what about a seized camshaft and stripped teeth on sprocket?? Sounds more like that to me than bottom end...
  4. I could arrange for my two ferrets to be brought and we could play....rub your B*ll*cks with this rabbit skin and now put this down your trousers....
  5. Not that I'm aware of....but I'm sure something could be arranged......how about Midget throwing......all we need are a couple of midgets!....... What about Bonniebird Baiting?.....or Rebel Rach Ridiculing?...of course these are two extreme events and should be left to those of a younger disposition....us old un's may now know better and have the scars to prove it...I'm still carrying some shrapnel from the battle of the sexes...
  6. Yes mate Got anything in mind? Nothing specific but we have lots of options....depends what you are into?
  7. ayup....anyone up for a ride on Sunday to somewhere?
  8. If fuel is getting through ok then I would suspect that something on the electrica side (ECU?) is getting hot....check the earths are sound, not rusted etc...
  9. Is the speed limited the 30mph to stop the larger breasted women having their boobs blown under their armpits??? Just asking ....
  10. And what about that annoying whistling sound???
  11. I would run the bike, on stand with the fuel cap closed, then after it cuts out run it again with it open and see if it continues to run. Then you will have your answer....depression on the wrong side of the fuel....in other words breather blocked...
  12. Hahaha, genius!!! Should be made a rule when you join the forum! Do you think that if it was compulsary then you would have been allowed on...the mad, crazy person that you are...
  13. Dont worry Steve I will be trying my best to carry the banner on your behalf.....and that could be from both ends depending on what I eat....
  14. Cool mate will let you know later in the week...
  15. I'll ask my mate if he wants to go on Monday instead...
  16. This sounds like a compression problem....when its hot (and things get tighter) it runs ok....when its cold (and things shrink) it doesnt start....treat yourself to a compression tester..they are not that expensive...test the compression, then put some oil in the bore and test it again.... see what the difference is...
  17. Weather permitting I am riding up to Fimber Cafe (near Driffield) on Sunday calling at Barton on Humber on the way. Anyone interested?
  18. does the bike have a fuel "on/off" switch? If it does and you turn it on does fuel run out?
  19. OK....from your reply I think its time for engines for dummies....please start here by learning about carburation...http://www.howstuffworks.com/question377.htm

    help

OK so how long did you run it for befoe you put the choke off?....was the bike warm? Could you start it again after that, even with choke, without having to put oil in the bore?
  21. If it's only three months on then you should be taking it back....simples

    help

If you believe it to be low on compression then you can try taking the plug out and squirting a couple of shots of oil down into the bore.....you then kick itt over a couple of times to circulate the oil onto the rings etc.....put the plug back in and try to start it....If it starts you have a clue as to the possible problem...if it continues to start then you have fixed the problem... This used to be a problem with ford escorts and other vehicles..they used to "wash the bore" and lose comprsession...
  23. It still sounds like a pilot jet or a pipe off allowing too much air into the mixture...
  24. Surely its got to be a fuel problem as the only thing that alters when you open the throttle is the demand for fuel?...It doesnt alter the spark etc? If this were a normaly aspirated engine, eg carbs, then it would be the symptom of a blocked jet...
