  1. Looks sweet dude, is all the engine running good and did you fix your ignition problem?
  2. Hi I really appreciate the offer and if I come across any obstacles I'll be sure to give you a shout, thanks a lot! what bike do you have?
  3. Erm, bike is being put back together and it's only a 50cc Peugeot XR6 as well =/ But on May the 4th I'll have my 125 and actually keep up with some speed limits =p
  4. hi, has an automatic choke I think as it doesn't have a switch or anything to turn it on and all the jets have been thoroughly cleaned
  5. Hmmm, No that's a good point I'll look now Thanks ;p
  6. I thought I'd give the rest of the parts a good polish and decided that instead of buying a new motorbike dashboard and trying my luck about finding a replacement I thought I'd buy a universal motorbike dashboard? Has anyone had previous experience with these? Are they easily fitted, would you recommend hoping to come across a replacement dashboard and has anyone links to a good dashboard? Thanks!
  7. Hi, so i did that and now it idles for about 5-10 seconds and then stalls :/ as it's such a weird make there is like no spares for it :/

  10. Rome wasn't built in a day, they take time from what I've seen and don't rush your spraying just to please us on here Looking forward to seeing some more pictures!
  11. Hi guys for the ones who didn't scroll past when they saw the word scooter, cheers A mate of mines brother bought an absolute hunk of crap on his 16th, italjet formula 50 :/ Any way when he bought it it all worked but wouldn't idle but he was fine with that so he kept riding it and left it at home when he came back to it, it wouldn't start So I told him bring it to mine and I'll have a look at it for him and after cleaning the mucky carbs and blowing an air compressor clearing all the pipes the bike started first time from the electric start but won't idle whatsoever it just dies like it did before :/ I've checked for an idle screw on the carb and its not even got one 0.o and the tube which goes from the carburettor to the air box has a massive cut in it Would the massive cut in that pipe prevent idling and should it have an idle screw?
  12. Hey, any new updates on the bike? Hasn't really been decent weather to spray though :/
  13. Haha, cheers its a thing of beauty, ain't it? I'm thinking it was just a really poor quality piston There didn't seem to be any damage on my crank case whatsoever it was all very good condition
  14. Ahh, I'm so annoyed :@ but you gotta do what you gotta do thanks for the help
  15. When I first took the crank case apart I was covered in a black oil would it be gear oil? I'm going to take it all apart so I'd expect a lot of pictures and questions coming everyone's way soon!
  16. Hi, I did notice a little play in the crank rod, but it was like 0.4 mm it was very slight :/ I'm absolutely idiotic I never checked them! It's because I'm trying to rush it.. It seems dead obvious to check ah it's all going to have to be took apart again... Thanks a lot
  17. Hi guys not been posting for a while, I've been working all hours working =/ I took all the engine to pieces changed all the gaskets cleaned the debris at the bottom of the crank case etc installed new gaskets, compared the seals on my crankshaft to new ones off the internet and they looked the same, no leakage everything put back together... Two questions... If you've seen that picture of my new piston then you'll know it can't be used but I though about putting the very original one back in... Would this work? http://imageshack.us/a/img9/9462/imagebwu.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img802/5580/imagezwi.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img199/1502/imagekoo.jpg Also what oil do I put in the crankcase and how far do I fill it up?
  18. Minecraft Star Wars the old republic Skyrim Oblivion Runescape The sims Diablo 3
  19. Haha, I was being sarcastic, sorry But this bike is smashing up pistons quicker than I can buy them
  20. http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2093/imageclwc.jpg Right, can this still be used? Also there's was a lot of debris and rubbish at the bottom of the crankcase I'm also assuming the shouldn't of been there? ;D
  21. Didn't see your post, it's a stator by the way I assume as all but one wire from it go to the CDI it produces electric for the spark?
  22. Hi guys several cuts, bruises and a cr*p load of swear words later I got it off and the crankcase dropped apart and everything fell everywhere I'm severely p*ssed off and should have read the manual first about telling me to take the flywheel off first then the cogs around the side.. God damn my ignorance... After about an hour of scanning the room I found everything... I've put them all in a bowl and going to do it tomorrow after I've calmed down and had a good sleep P:S the piston has destroyed itself again but this time to a whole new level I'll upload it to my 'Peugeot XR6 Restoration...' thread tomorrow... Thanks a lot guys Top Tip: Best to do it following the manual and with proper tools =p Learned the hard way
  23. Hi guys, I know I constantly harp on about random cr*p but I need help again; I've taken everything from the right side of the engine off and all the bolts but my crankcase still wont open! It's starting to bug me and I know I've left something stupid out http://imageshack.us/a/img29/3742/imageiiiv.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img560/4929/imagejwv.jpg
