  1. Am I seeing things, 4 washers and a nut?! http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/6527/44265505.png Still ordered them though =)
  2. I didn't see any washers when I took the nuts off so does it need to have them? What would happen of it did bite into the cylinder head?
  3. I've replaced all the gaskets in the top end there is just that one bolt which I'm hoping is that's wrong with it =D Thanks =) where you have tightened the remaining 3 bolts down it could of damaged the head gasket replace the last bolt and washers if there was any and hopefully you will get away without doing head gasket again I've been working all day trying to earn as much as I can for a bike at 17 so not been fiddling with it today, I asked my mum to go get me another bolt god knows what she got me probably something completely wrong but I'll be sure to try that bolt very soon, thanks for your patience guys and gals

  5. Would it be doing what it's doing though? I'll go to partsco soon and get a replacement, thanks =) Well....if you have a decent spark and fuel is getting into the combustion chamber the most likely thing to stop it running correctly is lack of compression..... I had a loose cylinder head bolt on one cylinder on an RD350 years back....it ran like sh*t......and leaked fuel/oil from the head gasket area.....so, a missing bolt could cause your problems..... If that was the only problem with it that'd be great, I'll go and get a bolt tomorrow and let you all know, thanks =)

  7. Yeah I started with them all screwed in and then slightly adjusted each one.
  8. Hi I will do that right away, thanks! =) Yeah there is four bolts on the cylinder head and one is missing. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/688/img05451w.jpg/ The barrel was scored but only a slight bit, hardly seemed worth replacing as I'm running low on cash. Thanks!
  9. Hi I'm Rick and I'm new to TMBF I'm 16 so can only own a 50cc bike but 17 soon and hoping to get the CBR125! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKqYk3phdiM It has had a new CDI, spark plug, spark plug cap, new battery and I've cleaned the carburetor yet it won't start! It starts up like it did in the video with the choke fully on but if i let it drop RPM it will stall like it did I've cut out about 10 minutes of me running up and down the road as you probably don't need to see that. It has had a new top end rebuild since a piston ring snapped and scored the piston. I've replaced the piston rings and the piston itself just not the cylinder all new gaskets and one of the top bolts is missing would that matter? The air filter was removed for this video as part of testing the bike. It's had all fresh petrol, 2 stoke oil etc. It is Peugeot's poor excuse of a motorbike called the Peugeot XR6 50cc 2 stroke. Minirelli AM6 engine everything is stock on it. If I undo the screw which the bowl is located fuel pours out so fuel is definitely getting to the carb. After is started like in the video the plug was wet and sort of black, wiped off easily. Sorry about the poor video i had my iPhone taped to the mirror on the bike, don't have one of them fancy GoPro things quite yet! =) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
