We can only hope that no aspiring bikers pay any attention to this video. Also, is he a knob deliberately? Or is it just how he is?

I've gone for a Givi as the fitting looks most suited to my completely unconventional tank. Thanks all!

Thanks for your help, very detailed

Afternoon chaps (and chapesses)
I have recently been looking at the quick release tank bags that have a ring that attaches to the fuel cap as I can't use a magnetic tank bag and this seems like a good alternative.
The Oxford system doesn't seem to have a clip that fits my KTM RC125, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives that might?
Cheers,
Nick

You ride a bike.....Therefore you'll always be cool.....
This would be true if only there weren't guys riding white BMW RT1200s, with white flip front helmets and wearing polite jackets on the roads

I was never expecting people to have so much fun with this thread

(I jest we have have a company standard. Which includes our fax number. Does anyone actually even use faxes anymore??).
Yeah, in fact the RAF insists on using it even though we have perfectly good email.. And printers... But we keep it "just in case"

might be an idea to post in the correct section for you location
You and your locations Oxfordshire seems to be classed as both south west and south east depending on who you ask so I was aiming for max coverage

Good morning folks,
Just got my KTM RC-125 on the road (after a four month battle with the DVLA) in Witney, Oxon. Wanted to put out the feelers to see how many of you are from Oxfordshire and up for the occasional ride out.
God speed,
Nick

Well that was just awful, 5 mins of my life I'll never get back...
As far as I could tell (only being a new rider) it was just him putting himself into bad situations then using it as an excuse to give abuse...
Doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would give anyone that abuse face to face either

From my experience of Cypriot licences, it depends on the laws of the country you are driving in, not what your licence says. So even though you may be able to ride those in another EU country, you'd still need to do a CBT in the UK.
This is just what I understand, if there's anyone with more experience feel free to correct me.

I have absolutely no idea!
Thanks for your help

Hello guys,
I have been left totally baffled by the licensing system (not too uncommon of a problem it seems!)
So while I was living in Cyprus, I passed my A1 test and now have an EU A1 licence. What I want to know is, once I've held this for two years, can I progress straight to the A cat mod 2 test or only the A2?
If it helps, I am 24 so old enough to hold an A cat licence.
Thanks for your help guys,
Nick

I did my test in Cyprus and had no road training at all, just had to do a cone slalom and emergency stop, was terrified for my first few rides out but soon settled into it. However I have got plenty of road experience in the car so maybe that helped. The drivers here are all nutters, but I'd say thats done wonders for my hazard awareness!

Dunno why he's oiling my head?
Giggidy. Sorry, had to be done!
But lovely bike

Well, it's clearly a unanimous decision! Thanks guys, just wondered if it was just KTM ass covering that's all good complete answers fellas

Hey Guys,
I have a new KTM RC125 on order (as you may have heard me bragging in another thread )
I just wanted to know the general opinion of you guys about the running in period, the manual recommends not exceeding 7,500rpm or full opening of the throttle within the first 600 miles or so. Do you consider this an essential part of the new bike process, obviously I don't want to damage my bike and will be patient if necessary.
As you can imagine, I am pretty keen to use the full potential of my bike ASAP, especially as it's only a 125
Thanks,
Nick

I don't envy people who are doing their licences in the UK, the whole process sounds like such a ball ache...
-
If you put a shorter screen on it I would love it, its got that 80s sportsbike look

Wonder how hard it is for me to rig up a mega electric shock wire near the zip
It would probably be easier to rig up an IED, plus more effective
