  1. Yeh ... but the bloke in car stopped half round so he's done the same. He's most likely looked, Realised it's his right of way as nobody to his right is at the junction. Starts his manouver and along comes a bike to fast to stop and panics slamming on his brakes.
  2. Right of way i believe at roundabouts works on who was at the junction first, If he had started his manouver, you should not have entered the junction untill it was clear.. i'd be inclined to agree it is your fault. Offer to pay for the damage if it's minor a new bumper or some work on it will suffice i'm sure. Just remind him that it will increase his premium if he claims to, so it's mutually beneficial to settle out of insurance.
  3. Delving into your "Stu mugshot" folder i see...

  12. Hey i did mine at Ipswich, i only remember a bit, it's a lot of one way's a few sharp bends. There is ONE junction i do remember can't remember where.. but it is a T junction and they usually take you to it to turn right, but something about the lights is funny to try catch you out. HAve you done any training? Maybe book a few hours to ride around Ipswich before you do it
  13. That title made me wince and die a little inside Maybe i should test ride one sunday
  14. I tend to wear a leather jacket with space for a fleece under neath and a pair of motorcycle jeans with space for thermals under neath. I then carry a set of waterproofs for when it really rains but if it's spitting/light rain the leather jacket is fine A pair of leather gloves/boots and a caberg v2rr helmet. All in all about £400 worth of kit (helmet being £150 of that) It's worth shopping around and as others have said check for trade shows last day sales etc.
  15. Ditto. It's a nice thing to have and be able to turn on when your hands start to feel the chill. Wire it so it's not running straight off the battery
  16. It's summer, new riders and people training. i hated hated that part of the test. You really have to look where you're going no matter what and push the handle bars out and in or you won't make it. Good luck for your next test and practise the other parts, would suck to fail on one of those
  17. Sam reminds me of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxXEPk3dzFg

  22. Minimal rain = ok weather Bit of sun would be nice
  23. Think mine was a Duo.. The bloody thing never worked it stayed on all the time! Sometimes took 20minutes to start the f**kin bike haha. Removing mine was a ballache.. it was wrapped around so many other wires from end to end i had half the bike in pieces to remove it.
