  1. Have you checked the tyre pressures? A couple of psi under inflated can make the low speed steering quite a lot heavier..... I will check that tonight. In my excitement i just wanted to get out =D
  2. Order my a cheeseburger. I'll see you there at 2:30 (if i don't get lost) Gonna stick the satnav in my tankbag and go by that haha Just been running through the route, probably easier to head straight to tonbridge wells. Dragging KD79 along from ipswich. Sorry to keep changing my plans, but london looks scary! haha
  3. Order my a cheeseburger. I'll see you there at 2:30 (if i don't get lost) Gonna stick the satnav in my tankbag and go by that haha

  10. I've been thinking (for a while before i got my bandit) about getting some accessories for my riding. These mostly include A 12v charger port (phone satnav etc) A sat nav holder. i currently have an old TomTom that i used for reference, anyone know if there is a holder that fits this and fits onto a motorcycle handlebars? And for the winter some heated grips! Also will a standard(as far as i know!) bandit battery be able to power these? If anyone can recomend some specific products they or friends have used that would be great as i don't want to end up buying a piece of crud and regretting it.
  11. Cheers =) Also clicked the map link it didn't work? Anyone able to link a different one so i can see roughly where i'd be meeting you all.
  12. If not. and you fancy a little trek. a great shop in Ipswich is Orwells motorcycles. MASSIVE store with clothing and bikes. Also provide great service and assistance, When i had issue with my helmet they sent it off and replaced mine for free.
  13. Hmm! I might be up for this. Little worried my skills might slow you all down seeing as i only passed yesterday!! Going to go out over the next couple days get some miles under my belt. Will buzz you!
  14. Sounds good then! Sunday the 14th it is! Not sure where everyone is located. i'm also not that good at planning a "fun" route =D So if someone wants to plan a route. We can all meet at a mutual spot or spots. I imagine we can grab people along the A12 and then go from there. If people want to PM my their phone numbers i will try co-ordinate this a bit =)
  15. Cheers guys! Loving the new found freedom. Bike is lovely a little hard to turn at slow speeds, But i think thats just the bike being new for me. Compared to the bike i trained on which felt light as a feather. Need to put some miles under my belt!
  16. NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAILED IT!!! 2 minors with apparently the most strict instructor haha! Super chuffed. now if you'll excuse me i'm going out on the bike =D

  19. Cheers ! Hopefully won't be near any schools =) I do feel quite calm on the bike, but once you have an examiner behind you it feels a little stuff and clunky haha. Excited and nervous combined is odd feeling!
  20. Cheers =) Ipswich DSA centre is where i start from. riding around ipswich with Excel. Cheers would be fun =) Gonna have a few ride arounds this weekend if weather holds out get myself accustomed to the bike.

  22. As mentioned by Tango on a different thread. I now remember i wanted to go here a while back but never had the time, also wanted to go on a larger bike. Doing Mod 2 tomorrow so hopefully will pass and can ride my big bike. If so anyone fancy maybe the 13/14th September fancy riding out to bury st edmunds and checking this place out? opens 9/10am (sat/sun) If nobodies interested i will solo it listening to sad music through some headphones!! I'm flexible on days so if people want to go but the weekend is difficult we can move it to another, Will make more detailed arrangements once i see who(ifanyone) is interested.
  23. Not sure quite where this is? Far from essex?
  24. Any last tips or advice? Doing a few hours riding before the test to make sure my minds in "The biker zone" Test at 2pm. Feel fairly confident, my riding skills are average i'm mostly worried about making a stupid mistake like checking my left shoulder on a right turn or something haha!
  25. Nope. Was a little awkward to fit on my Caberg V2RR But once it was on it was fine. I leave mine on all year round tbh Doesn't make it harder to see and i dont risk fogging up.
