  1. I'll be fine i'm sure =) Got a sat nav on my bike and i'm not as bad as i make out to be =D Pretty much just a couple straight roads there.
  2. Had similar (or possibly this jacket?) I just kept it clean outside with some water and a cloth. Never really built up a smell.. Maybe take it dry cleaners ?
  3. Thats what i meant! But i didnt remember the name of the bridge =D It's not called dartford bridge is it?
  4. Whaaaaat =D I was gonna take this route https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Colch ... !3e0?hl=en
  5. 1h19m on Google maps (Colchester to Sevenoaks) but if Megawatt's not coming (he lives way down south) and me not 100% certain yet, it might make sense to keep the route further north a bit...? roads arent so good though. Also, why not meet up with Phil somewhere in East London and ride down with him? Easier for me to just go straight past dartford tunnell and down from there otherwise adds a lot more time going into london and i'm not all that keen on londons roads =D Also i'm happy to come to where we're meeting originally just not much further if possible =)
  6. Not to much further south please already got a 2 hour(ish) ride down to where it is haha!
  7. Does broken leg count? =D Got my sat nav holder on the way so i dont get lost haha!
  8. Told the missus she's on her own saturday then! Haha. She blew me off thursday for our plans so now we're even! See you then will leave colchester about 12/12:30
  9. Will give that a try on the way home. So used to having middle of my feet on the peg. Only stalled on hills but tbh i prefer from brake hill starts anyway.
  10. Nope. If they ask to see it and you don't have it they will give you a form/ticket saying please present it to "Said police station" within 7 days. Thats if they really are bothered chances are they won't be. Once you do your full license the DSA instructor will offer to take your license and send it away for updating
  11. Got a couple. Woman on the A12 as i'm coming up the middle lane doing 70(74) decides to pull out i reacted fine and slowed down but she realised i was there and sat half way between both lanes for a good 15 seconds. In the end i pulled off at marks tey as i didn't want to be near such an imbecile. Me! Thinking the bike is f**ked because it cut out on hill starts when it was my dragging the rear brake haha! What a nob!
  12. Picked up an oxford 12v adaptor from my local bike shop, cost a little more but if i have issues i can take it back there rather than send it to ping in china. Ordering a case now for the tom tom
  13. I'm going to let it warm up a few minutes extra in the morning. As for stalling it i realised my rear brake is to high and need to adjust it lower! I was dragging the rear brake slightly and was stalling the bike haha
  14. Think i'll move this one till end of september, Got a bit to much going on and havn't had time to plot a route! Will get a route and re-organize with everyone and find a mutual date =)
  15. Hahaha, I think i can make this one. Will try drag KD79 along from ipswich so i have someone to ride down south with!! Any chance we can meet a little earlier ? This cold seems to be going now and the bike was running fine this morning so should all be good!!
  16. Will have a quick look later on, but think i will take it down garage anyhow as it's under waranty so may aswell get them to look at it.
  17. But would this have changed between when i got it (was fine) in just under 70 miles it's now behaving like this?
  18. That looks pretty decent =D That will fit a tomtom one? Not a bad price to be fair =)
  19. Haha found out something wrong with the engine i was just to dumb to notice lol. Cause i was in busy traffic i didn't hear it cut out and the immobiliser kicks in about 5 seconds after the engine shuts off
  20. Cheers stu. Will check that out tomorrow =) Got my haynes manual on the way so hopefully that will come in handy haha!
  21. Think i will call them tomorrow. Done 70 miles on it. Not had any problems untill now.
  22. Evening all. Had a little trouble yesterday with my bike, it kept cutting out on hills and some junctions. Now i went and had a look at it a short while ago, and it's idling very low. about 1000rpm sometimes less. OCcasionally it just cut out, Now i think (noob knowledge time) it's one of the cylinders not firing. Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions. otherwise i might take it back to the garage (as it's only done 70 miles)
  23. My new bike has a datatool (uno i believe) but when ever it stalls the immobiliser kicks in which is awkward because sometimes it doesnt disengage when i hit the fob and i can't pull off again. Anyone know a solution (don't say dont stall..) or can i remove the immobilser relatively easy?
  24. I was trained to squeeze the front brake on and gently apply the rear. pull the bike to a stop and just before it cuts out pull clutch in and then put left food down while keeping the rear covered. Then check mirrors put it into gear and do life savers pull over to the instructor. I don't know if right boot is a fail. But i wouldn't risk it.
