Ive got racetec ones. Not had any issues with them. I have tyre blankets to, used them at a cold cadwell the other day. I think you start getting problems when you bend them when there hot, i always lay mine flat. Got caddy open pit on the 13th if you fancy it.

Front and back where as bad How old is that tyre? Ive seen cuts like that on new tyres, apparently its caused by storing them in to colder conditions.

Just drill the bolt head on the yoke bolts and lockwire them so they can't twist loose if your bothered about it.
