  2. How did you get on mr fro?
  3. Borght a shit box saxo and it went in for a service/warrnty work. Tossers welded the rear brake adjusters up. So i borght a set of spanners and socket set and ive never been in a garage since (except for mot).
  4. Get it serviced.
  5. Doubt it, i always order tyres well in advance. Took them 4 weeks to deliver me a front. Mate ordered a supercorsa and a rosso corsa turned up, refused to swap it unless he paid again then they would collect the rosso and then refund.
  6. Ive got makita and hitachi drivers, hitatchi must be 5 years old and still as good as the day i borght it. Mikitas gears have gone in all 3 drivers less then 18month old.
  7. Dunlops are the hardest to fit because the sidewalls are so stiff. I do alot of bike tyre changes but i remove and fit car and van tyres to. You NEED to get the back of the tyre down and into the deepest part of the rim, otherwise your fighting a loosing battle. The more you change the more you develop the knack for it.
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272267714760" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  9. You can use the corners of a old oil tub to protect the rim but the curved lever dosnt scratch.
  10. Buy a new lever thats is curved. Ive not read any replys but get the wheel on the floor, push the tyre on past the 1st bead, push the second bead past the rim, push down and forward so it sits in the deepest part of the rim, kneel on it and push the rest of the tyre on use the bar for the last bit.
  11. Its never gonna be a cheap hobby. Does he have sponsors? I'd love to race but have zero time spare. Yes, hes pretty good and pays for nothing. He just turns up and rides.
  12. Some one i know who races 600 elite spent 8k on tyres last year.
  13. Get something with better spares availability. CBR600/GSXR600 etc. Only if you can afford tyres, lots and lots of tyres. 600 is competitive, it needs ££££££s to get results.

    Honda HISS

    Honda HISS

    What you have tried doing is turning it off so it dosnt blink when its parked up. Suprised its not cut out. Pull the tank cover off and check the wires from the hiss reciver, sometimes the get damaged where they pass between things.

  22. Who was the TDO? Cadwell takes a bit of balls anyway so i wouldnt worry about times. Aslong as you come away with ear to ear grin who cares?
  23. Just have fun, thats what your there for. Mind the high kerb in the 1st right hander and put some weight on the pegs as you come over the mountain.
  24. Id set the sag at home first, if you cant get it to the correct amount then your just wasting £35 because you need different springs.
  25. Costs me a days wage to. But i wont do weekend/bank hol because it ends up been a red flag fest with all the rossi wannabes.
