is it normal for the clutch to go at 24k miles?? i cant afford new clutch plates
-
bit not like any cut out i've come across!!
its a 1996 GSF1200 bandit
i will come to a stop and it will, over the space of about 2 seconds, drop in revs then cut out....
it doesnt always do it though!
also i noticed, when in gear with the clutch fully in, if i rev it, it will still pull foreward slightyl!
makes me wonder if the clutch thing is making it stall at a standstill?
its a hydraukic clutch so i dont see any way of adjusting it
cheers all

a mate of mine bought from me the HJC lid with the pump to fit doohickey! he's well chuffed with it!

We eventually found MonkeyKnuckle and Foz along with a couple of others and had some candy floss and a drink and a bit of a sit down before going for a wander to look at the bikes. I'd always wondered how people could reach the handlebars on a chopper. I now know you need go go gadget arms!
you mean YOU had candy floss
its really not that bad trying to reach the bars! its the pegs most people struggle with on my bike

a very enjoyable experience but one its best to ride away from with a bike still in one piece.
i cant think of many experiences where it'd be very good to walk away from with your bike in more than one piece...if i'm honest

Cutting out UPDATE
in Pitstop
Posted
well i changed the fluid this afternoon! was a nice and easy job
anyway, the old fluid...was black!! i don't think its ever been changed!!
i put new fluid in and took it for a test ride, everything is as it should be! no cutting out, when holding the clutch in and revving, it no longer pulls at all!!
wit will be tested further
cheers for the help you two! i will probably need a lot more with my new GTR project
