  1. Only ever driven it! Need to get my bike over it!
  2. Not normally a huge fan of oxford gear... but that looks great! Tankbags good review is kind of putting it as a contender for myself aswell! Would be interesting to hear any more comments once you have given it a go!
  3. Cheers guys... I'm not surprised Throttled... clearly everyone has great confidence in the UK summer weather!
  4. Sounds a bit obvious... but can you not just ask the guy to be a bit more quiet whilst removing his chain?!?!
  5. Thanks... The Vee wiper looks a bit strange! I just have some nikwax visor spray which seems to work well enough to allow the water to bead.
  6. Just got back from a weeks touring in the south of France. Two of my mates had the yellow/black one-piece Richa suits. One of them had to be helped into it each time it rained and both if them ended up with soaked bollocks at the end of the day. Mind you, it did lash down at times and even washed a lot of the mountain onto the road! I hope it isn't going to be that bad in Scotland! One good... one not so good review for the Richa gear. I think the two piece is probably where I will go. I ride on my own quite a lot so don't want to get caught out! Thanks for the replies...
  7. I have a Scotland trip planned for beginning of July and as this is the UK... it is likely that we will face at least a day of rain! My kit is 'semi dry' but with the miles we plan for each day I need to have some back-up to keep me comfortable (it's meant to be a holiday after all!). I have seen various arguments for one or two piece suits... I have looked at quite a few of both based on recommendations on RIDE etc... At the moment I am torn between: Behring Eco: http://www.getgeared.co.uk/BLH_BERING_E ... _Rain_Suit or http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... 86#reviews and http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... prod/33270 Both work out about the £50 mark... any thoughts or experiences with either or any different recommendations? Thanks, Dave
  8. Just got a set for between my dad and myself... separate bikes and spot on for about 500-600m. I got the newer edition which I found for about £56 (posted from China) which incorporated and FM radio too which is nice when riding on your own. Battery life seems spot on. Only charged once since I got them as I was going for a two day trip. Probably had 6-8 hrs radio listening from them after 3-4 hours talking before I charged (not that they needed it!). For the money I am very impressed. Ordered another pair so that either my dad of myself can use them with our pillions. Shame you can only link 3 together... 4 would be ideal! Only problem for me is lack of clearance in front of lips to chin bar so the speaker is a bit close to my face... OK after a while!
  9. Looks the business... Only downside I can see is you cant get a charger into it which if running my sat nav on my phone is needed. I'm considering this one. Good reviews.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/iKross-Universa ... hone+mount
  10. Cheers Chris. I have power supply parts on order... Will have a look later for mount. Found some ones with good reviews on Amazon.
  11. Yup... Co-pilot for me too! cracking bit of software! I am just looking to but a mount for my phone too so any recommendations greatly received!
  12. I have a very similar one... seems pretty secure in brick with the correct security fittings. I have had a bar under mine to check!
  13. Hello, new to the forum but thought I would chip in. Have to give another vote for the Ego. Got mine last summer... great with the vent open on a hot summers day. Like your own sunroof!
