Not I, but I'm only about an hour away if it weren't for the 50's on the M4.

. Wales does indeed have great roads . Saddly the police dont want our motorcycles riding them . Be prepaired for a few pulls by them in a days riding . . I have been stopped three times in one day and at least once a day . . Not because ive done anything wrong . just to tell me about safe riding ( Bla Bla Bla ) . However !! Be carefull not to be sporting a dark visor ,small num plate ,or sometimes if there bored a loud race can can be a problem in wales . Plus keep one eye on the sky . The chopper is up most weekends and will have you for allkinds if your not carefull .
Not the case down South, rarely see Police though I know they are there. They have to be really bored to start on cans, visors & plates unless you have an accident.

Last race of the year/series is a good time for team wear, as many teams will have different sponsors for the next season.

It's the one true thing about Wales.... Sheep are feckin everywhere!!!
Yeah, well it's nice to have a choice.
-
Glad your enjoying it.
Now why was it I moved to Wales ? (smug)

f**k it!
I just found out it's illegal to sell your children on ebay
Try Adtrader ( I don't think they are as strict )

Had last night off work, so went to do a bit of marshaling at the bike night.
732 bikes, this is the first time that bikes have had to be parked on the beach lawns. Heres hoping for many more summer Thursdays.
-
Plan to be there with The RBLR.
-
He has certainly got the good weather today!!
He's the one who has it then, only bad round these parts. Hope it's still like that in 5 weeks time.
-
Never ridden either but went for the Bandit as I know a few people who ride them and also tour UK and Europe on 'em. They are well happy.
-
I look at it this way, would you go to Givi to buy a motorcycle ?
I think the rest is self explanatory.

Wot WalneyFrankie says and also use the bike.
No bike likes to be stood idle, older bikes even less so, Things tend to get stiff and worst case seize up. Bit like humans do Keep active and supple and things last longer.

I have, I wouldn't again.
Can't beat a good shaft

Leather is my preference but I do have textiles (only for severe winter use).
I also have a baggy ass and regularly have the piss taken about it. But once I get on the bike I rarely need to move about as I am comfortable, have plenty of laughs watching the skintight wearers arseshuffling after a 100 miles or so. My leathers are for protection and not a fashion statement.
All the pies and beer seem to have settled in the gut position.

Whereas I will not condone the use of a boot sale lid, it will offer some protection albeit limited.
I well remember when when buying a bike many sellers would throw in a helmet, it was a selling point.
A new lid can be bought for £30 make him aware of this and that he should save for it, within a few weeks he should be able to buy one (step two of safe riding, he should already be using step one, not falling off, especially with a 2nd hand lid).
Also he needs to get a job, no one rides for long on a tenner a week.

I have a T shirt which says
If you don't
RIDE
You don't know
Sums it up for me.

Get yourself down to W-s-M on a Thursday night for the bike night.

I will be there on May 28th, most likley marshalling.

200 bikes, Good turn out for the first one of the year and it was pissing down.
Looking forward to the warmer & drier nights.
-
Bumped coz it starts tomorrow night.
-
I just bought a dci qashqai
You can get cream to clear that up
Probably for the best, the tablets don't work
-
Talbot 2.5td with a Swift Kon Tiki 6 berth body on it (currently Sorn'ed) & I have the use of a Fiat Doblo 1.9td.
Only use either if the job in hand is unsuitable for the bike, therefore I seldom drive either as if the job can't be done on the bike it ain't worth doing (as a rule).

Sounds like the starter is/could be on it's way out.
Will it bump on the occasions it doesn't fire up on the button ?
