Theres a kit called or used to called "Colour Tune" It allows you to watch the combustion through the spark plug and therefore can tell wether its running rich/lean etc. I dont know if its still made but sounds like it might help in this situation.

It really does suck big time when you get treated like that and you feel like you are at there mercy. Although looking at his facebook page theres some nice work on there so understand why you went with him. I always look for recomendations through other biking sites and if I cant find anything on them, they wont get me cash(learnt the hard way, years ago) I hope you get sorted.

As long as you have a multi-meter this link http://www.electrosport.com/media/pdf/f ... iagram.pdf is a very in helpful and indepth fault finder.

I vote replace the tyre, especially if its the front. Its a weak point in a vital place, why risk it.

Never tried one myself but their is pinlock insert that is sun reactive and changes from clear to dark as the light changes. Might try one myself next year -

I would ,as previous posters have said inform the insurers,I would be suprised if it raised your insurance much. Think it would cost a lot more to relink the system. The delink/link bebates have gone on for years but at the end of the day if your braking hard in a corner its you who have made the error and its human nature to blame something else.

This sounds to me like the dampening on the clutch is worrn, usually spings on a Honda and its allowing freeplay. This isnt anything to worry about and the only fix is a replacement clutch basket. To be clear I am not talking about the normal clutch springs but the springs on the back plate. Worth checking before spending you hard earned
