  1. Agreed - Take the helmet and find a Princess that fits it - bit like Cinderella

Seriously, buy another helmet. If the one she has is causing problems she will be the wrong shaped head for it.

Get to a big retailer (Hein Gericke, J&S etc) and try loads of different ones on her noggin.

Fit is more important than price.

If you start messing about with the inner of a lid (i.e. pushing melting, pressing, cutting) then it will destroy the integrity and safety of it should mit ever need to do it's job. Not worth the risk

  2. It's very green. = It's very wet!

The wee beasties will find you come what may, so repellent or take sticki's advice.

Do do the Kyle of Localsh road - again and again! Loop this either too or from Inverness via the A835 - awesome road

A82 along side of Loch Ness, not forgetting to stop off to take piccies of the 'Highlander' castle!

Again on the A82, get to the Corran ferry (5 min crossing) just south if Fort William and do the circular route on other side - reminds me of a mini swiss meadow, then up to Mallaig and back down the A830

Just a few ideas for ya!

  3. Try SW Motech - they are available through Hein Gericke.

The bag is like a hard shell with a fixing system on the bottom.

This clipsonto a fitting that fits onto the petrol filler surround. Keeps the bag off the tank, easy removal for refuelling and sturdy.

  4. Get a bike specific lid - as stated car/kart are designed for different disciplines and the R&D that goes into them differs.

Gold ACU is not a legal requirement for road use - just for track use.

Get into a bike dealers/clothiers and try a few on - even the lower end price bracket are OK but consider weight, venting (keeps you cool but makes them noisy).

You don't need to go for the top race lid (i.e. Arai Corsair - nice lid though, I have one!) when the next model down is more 'road' orientated.

Top price ones tend to be race lids - not always best for road - noisewise
