  1. Firstly - power or no power - How old are you?

If you are under 17 then you cannot ride it as it is a motorcycle, not a moped.

Mopeds have to be under 50cc design speed of under 30mph (unless reg before 1977 and fitted with pedals -don't laugh MO-PED motor-pedal bicycle!)

If you are under 17 and ride anything that doesn't fit the definition then you ride a motorcycle which requires a different (ie bike not ped) licence.

Someone technical will be along in a moment to answer the techno stuff!

Oh, and fiddling to make it go faster makes it a motorcycle too. If the insurance find out then they will invalidate it and possibly refuse further insurance

  2. Got to be on 2 lines and in 2 letter, 2 number 2 letter format.

    64 mm high.

Musr have manufacturers address and/or postcode and Au145 mark - also cannot have any other stickers on it

  3. When you stop its a different matter in the sun. What a pain to get off when your sweating cos you stick to the inner lining.Wouldnt trust anything other than leathers.2 piece worries me incase they come appart if i crash.

Try EDZ under garments - excellent stuff, wicks sweat stops leathers/textiles sticking, keeps you cool in summer and provides insulating layer in winter. Combine with an inner shell (top and/or botoms) and makes an ace system.

    Oh, and don't crash!

  4. On is where it should be.

    Reserve is what is says.

Prime will be to restart after running out / disconnection etc.

Re gear selection, wait until you are stationary before trying to gently engage neutral

  5. Not enough money in motorsport or interest in this country to build another new circuit.

Rockingham was an ambitious project to revitalise the scene and that's largely been a flop, even given it was designed for both Oval and short circuit (like Indianapolis!) to have best of both worlds.

It'sfairly centrally located for both north and south, and the facilities were 21st century.

There is money in the sport, but it is held by the corporations. What we need really is government investment and profile raising like other countries get and proper development programmes to support new blood.

Hell we don't even do that for the 'popular' stuff like athletics etc. so what chance does non environmentally friendly motorsport have?

Like has been said, there are some cracking circuits in the country that just need investment in the facilities - Donington should be first class when it's done, sits in a natural bowl, good views for everyone etc.

Silverstone has lost out through unfulfilled promises Viva Donington!
