    This doesn't sound like a good Idea. I would just scrap the thought of getting it. How much of a deposit have you put down? If the guy won't give you it back I would be tempted on just letting it go. This is just going to be a money pit from the day you get it

    Not a road rider at all but love mountain biking. I have a ghost we 3000 hardtail. I normally use purpose built trails around the 7 Staines usually mabie, ae or newcastleton. Sometimes just go and explore what the younger braver lads have built. Can be quite hairy sometimes tho

    I would do your cbt and then see how you feel like others have said. Once your cbt is done you will know what to do. Me personally just went straight in for it but I had bikes growing up so knew the basics
