  1. Pressure from Manufacturers User Handbook and They are the same in the Workshop manual, not found any recommendation for Continental Road Attack 2 tyres on their site
  2. Just checked weather forecast, it is showing a light raid at the Raven between 12:00 and 1:00 OK 11:00 and again at 2:00
  3. I think I will put mine back to 36 on Front, see you tomorrow at the Raven
  4. Which way you coming from Mansfield to Raven, Tigcraft is coming from Holmfirth and meeting myself and Liverpool TR and Delaware Forest near Frodsham we are then riding down to Raven together, thought if you came via Sheffield you might meet up with Tigcraft and ride with him Any particular time and exact point meet? Change of meeting place for You, Liverpool TR and Myself, have chosen J&S Accessories ( Motorcycles ), reason is that road is all gravel at Delaware Forrest and I don't like gravel on TR not bothered on my Bullet. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/J%26S+Accessories+Ltd+-+Northwich/@53.2150139,-2.6489728,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x66e38ad7c2bb8102!8m2!3d53.2150139!4d-2.6489728" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Time 10:45 to 11:00 gives us time for a rest, warm up and a coffee before riding down to the Raven for Midday, it is about 40 Mins to Raven from there
  5. Mine was at 36, I thought it had lost Air ( Dealer could have set it at 36 ) so put it back up to 40, like yours it seemed a bit skittish The TR from Liverpool runs 36 on the rear as well and he has lovely rounded tyres where mine have squared off a bit, I now have 2 lots of chicken strips one close to the edge and the latest are closer to the centre, not sure if that is due to a lot of Dual Carriageway and Motorway riding or if I have lost a bit of confidence.
  6. Hi Fred and is that on the TR, book says 40 front 40 rear
  7. I have a WK 650TR-2 and the book says the type pressures 2.8 Bar 40psi, the workshop manual says 39.8 psi, the Tyres are Continental Road Attack 2. Every time I say 40psi, other people say are you sure we are only running with 35psi in the rear because they get better grip, so I am confused all the rules say ensure they are set according to the book. Pleas tell me what you think about those pressure they seem high to me as well.

  19. Hi, starting this thread so we can post info about our WK650's arrange rides and meet up's
  20. I think this started out about how we rate our WK650TR's and any problems we have, looks like other owner's, have come across the thread and it seems to have changed tack.
  21. Your profile says Holmfirth, there is me from Bangor and another from Liverpool are you coming down the M56, I could contact the Lad from Liverpool you could perhaps meet up near Runcorn or Stanlow Services, I am meeting him either near A41 or Tesco's at Broughton
  22. Yes we are still on for Sunday, no matter what the weather.
  23. For the reason I said in the post you quoted. Changing wheel sizes causes a lot of hassle and cost that is just not worth it. You cannot simply switch an 18" wheel (457.2mm) for a 450mm or 460mm one without other changes to a bike's design. And introducing whole new rim sizes would also mean needing whole new range of tyres for them, as none would previously exist. It is just not worth changing just for the sake of it. But tyres do not have to be so exact. My rear wheel takes an 3.50x16 (imperial) or 100/90 16 (metric) tyre. But a 3.50" width is 88.9mm, and an 100mm width is 3.94". My wheels are supposed to be 17" but they are not.
