I won't ride without mine now...I used to just depend on the padded part of my jacket which I imagine wouldn't do very much -

Comfort wise it's spot on and as for safety I don't think you will get any more secure than this... it wasn't cheap like £110 ish it fits under my textile sports jacket perfectly -

I'm leaning towards a second ground anchor and another chain -
Is it worth getting a alarm fitted if so which one? I have a ground anchor and oxford hardcore chain and padlock... plus I have a oxford alarmed disc lock thatcham aproved

Not needed really I've had one on my gixer in the past it just stopped me trying to find that extra gear that doesn't exist on the motorway... -

I'm only down the road bud I'm from Widnes have to sort a ride out as soon as weather improves.. I didn't get out on it as much I'd like last year... What year is your gixer?
