  1. Got to the little nylon bag but nowhere to open it to get the cover out Sit the bag as it would be on the bike (with the pocket on the end away from you and the little fabric handle in front of you.) Just below the little fabric handle is a small zip (about 10 inches long) open it up and inside is the little rain cover thing. Rubbish phone pic to give you an idea. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n245/MonkeyKnuckle/Photo-0003.jpg
  2. MK, did you suss out what the little squashy nylon bag thing is that looks like a little pillow joined onto the inside?? Yeah, turn the bag upside down and there is a little zip that opens up and you can get into the pillow thing. Inside there is what looks like a waterproof cover which is attached to a piece of elastic which is attached to the bag.
  3. Me too! Spent 5 minutes taking bits off and trying to put it back together. Seems pretty good for the price. Also bought a kidney belt and the 2 way communication system thing.
  4. Might pop along this evening, see what goodies they have.
  5. I left all the chocolate I had at Em's house, including my minstrels. Couldn't face any more chocolate.
  6. Finally back home after leaving 3 days ago. Was nice to meet everyone. Hope you found your way home okay Gubba. Big thanks to Rennie and Susie for organizing. Total miles covered: 398.6 Time Taken: 8.30 hours With Pillion: 5.30 hours & 260 miles. No wonder I'm knackered.
  7. They are a bit......intense.... I'll let myself out....
  8. Was gonna post this in the thread about the latest advert but it's been locked so I can't. ">
  9. Ah yes, I see the mass of small roundabouts. We actually join the M1 at the junction before that (from A508 onto the M1) but there's no where decent to meet at that junction. So the one you suggested sounds good, it's quite a big service station. Bear in mind we will be on the northbound side. I think there's a roadchef there so we can meet in the car park for that. If not look for the yellow bike with two passengers wearing mohawks. I'll be wearing a yellow jacket as well. We were planning to leave Jin's Dad's at about 9-9.30am (aiming for 9am) because we are supposed to be in the Cadbury's car park by 11.30am. It'll take us about 15 minutes to get to the service station apparently. So do you think you could get there for around 9.30am? (I know it's early for a Saturday morning. ) I'd prefer to be early rather than late. My number is in contacts, I'll have a look for yours in there, if it's not can you PM it to me? Then I'll text you when we are leaving Jin's Dad's just in case you beat us there. I also have a Sat-nav so just follow me and hopefully we will get there easily enough. EDIT: It's at junction 15A of the M1 by the way. If anyone else wants to meet there, feel free.
  10. Me, Skittles, Jin and Fozzie are going to be leaving from Northampton on Saturday morning. (Not sure what time yet) The plan is Skittles and I will be on my bike while Jin and Fozzie will be in Fozzie's car. Is that any good to you Gubba? I don't know the area so don't know of any meeting points or anything.....
  11. According to the Met office it's possible light rain on Friday and sunny on Saturday. That's for Portsmouth, London and Birmingham. Me and Skittles are still planning to come on my bike.
  12. I got lost on the way to the bathroom.
  13. I'm gonna pick up the tank bag me thinks. Maybe a couple of other pieces, it's not like they're expensive.
  14. Hehe, woops! Would you believe me if I said it was an honest spelling mistake?
  15. Ok thanks Sue. Should give us plenty of time to get back then, even if she stays in the shop for an hour or so. Maybe I should ditch the bike and come up in my van.
  16. Cheeky! I'm gonna need as much chocolaty energy I can get for the ride home, don't want to be hyper though. Any ideas how long the tour takes?/When we are going to be finishing?
  17. Tut-tut Korben. So who's going to join Me, Jin, Skittles and Fozzie in group 2? (You'd have to be pretty nuts if you want to. )
  18. That'd probably make sense Sue. Getting Jin and Skittles up at the crack of dawn isn't going to be easy but I'll manage. *Just kidding. *
  19. Well you know the area better than us so we'll go whichever way you want to, whichever route is easier. We can discuss it nearer the time. Em's parents should be going as her Mum has a Kawasaki and wants to go.
  20. That's fine, I know where it is. Jin - If we do end up going to do want to ride with us from somewhere? I would say Target Roundabout but I hate that roundabout.
  21. It'll more than likely be the Sunday I would think. I'll have to check if I'm free on that day closer to the time. And yeah we can travel together, I might go the boring way of A3-> M25-> A40.
  22. I'll say maybe as long as I don't get booed if I turn up on my Honda.
