Haha that sounds cool Hoggs! I've got World of Warcraft Monopoly and Hobbit one too.. My other half thought I was ruthless playing Monopoly until he played with my nan too! She managed to swindle everyone playing with crafty tactics.. Was amazing! Has anyone played gloom?

Oohhh that sounds cool Joe! If you ever do, please make a thread so we can follow it! I'd be dead keen to learn There wasn't enough electronics in my degree, so I've managed to get one of the electronic engineers to give me lessons each week in the electronic lab and I feel like such a eager student again, it's great!
  8. Rant, can you get trains anywhere nearish? We could pick you up from somewhere as we're likely going in a car together this year..

That would be cool! I was originally thinking about effectively using it as a ECU monitor and editer for our universities race car but just got too caught up in other bits. Now not sure what to do with it.. I'm sure once I move and settle into this new job more I'll have time to look at it again! Then I will be asking you all for tips and ideas no doubt
  10. Me and Jay are in Birmingham this weekend anyway so I think we're hoping to make it, maybe this Sunday.. Might treat myself to a new back protector!

Haha yeah I do love that game! Does get a little ridiculous with the expansions though.. a little bit like Munchkin can Looks like Jay's coming to the rally again in the car just to carry all my board games while I'm on the bike! He has a tent with a nice big 'living' area, so we can set up a board game table if the weather turns sour

Oh my gosh.. You saying that, I've just thought. Has anyone played Twilight Imperium? That is a HUGE game that is so in depth but you do need a few people to play.. It's got great lore behind it though too.. It would be great if we could ever meet for TMBF board games I've got enough of them in my cupboard...

Was a WoW nut myself a long while ago but I think around Wrath of the Lich king I lost it.. Tried again at Pandas but they'd just made it way to simplistic and kiddy.. WW1: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/133 ... s-wwi-1914 The Feudal Japan one / Ikusa: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/221/ikusa Pics at the bottom of both those links.. Also got given Mass effect Risk a couple of years ago for my bday which is a good laugh

Have to admit for MMOs, gave EVE a go and just couldn't get my teeth in so I've got Guild wars 2 that I play with the same group of mates.. No monthly fees which is always a bonus! And I'll try and get a picture up of the last Axis n Allies weekend we had.. the board takes over the entire living room table! I managed to get Russia to do well in WW1 but crushed in WW2 I think..

You and me are going to get on! I am an Automotive Engineer technically, but while working with Triumph I found I had a bit of a passion for databases, ERPs and KBE. Basically putting things in their right bloody boxes so that engineers aren't doing the same useless tasks, day after day, which only duplicates documentation and creates more problems all round! Now that I'm out of Uni I'm getting really into SQL, C++ etc.. Quality Engineering too but I guess that all gets rolled into the same bundle in the end. My cupboard with my current flatmate is FULL of games like axis and allies (Have you played their Japanese feudal one? So good!). Variants of Risk, Munchkin, WoW Monopoly and yes, me and friends meet on Skype to DnD once a week if we can
  20. I'm based anywhere between Banbury, through Brackley to Buckingham these days.. (Though haven't moved the bikes out of Birmingham yet.. :S)

Oh I know this one! Haha If you need a minecraft server, I run one for me and my friends It would be good to have another person about for the variety.. We kind of all have our usual 'go-to' builds, which is a rut we should get out of. Yeah space engineers have just put planets in, though my laptop through a fit the other day when I went to give it a go but I hear they're great. Especially all the gravity physics.. Many landing crafts have ended up in a deep crater!

I recon you'd really like Heros and Generals then It's free on steam and I have to admit it's one of my favourites! (Though, with moving at the moment I haven't been able to get on my PC much to game.. )

Ohh now this chat I like! Who's on Steam? And with talk of the battlefield/COD style games, has anyone tried Heros and Generals? Really good WW2 battle style game.. Almost based on Airsoft style matches. Edit: And Mr.Whippy, would be dead keen to talk to you about ERP systems at some point if you ever wanted to
