  1. I am sure my bro went there years ago racing (one of) his sooped up car(s). Talking about 15 years ago mind, maybe longer. Always rememberred that name though as I thought it was in Spain when he said where he was going.
  2. My Nitro only rates at 2 stars as well, but then my intention was to buy a decent yet affordable helmet until I pass my test a get a bigger bike, then I will get a better and ultimately more expensive helmet. Think this report was published in one of the bike mags a month or two ago.
  3. My missus bought one of these things at the airport on our way to our holiday. Video shows them being able to be used by bikers as well. Just thought I would pass it on while I remember, and you can change them to look like a hat or whatever with a simple twist. http://www.buffwear.co.uk/
  4. Try EDZ under garments - excellent stuff, wicks sweat stops leathers/textiles sticking, keeps you cool in summer and provides insulating layer in winter. Combine with an inner shell (top and/or botoms) and makes an ace system. Oh, and don't crash! Oh I got a set of the EDZ under garments as well.
  5. Dropped into HG today and picked up the two piece leathers for the price of the jacket (£159). Black with red and cream trim. They didn't have much choice for my size remaining, but the sale has been going since the beginning of July. Happy with my purchase anyhoo.
  6. I did my CBT on the 9th July. It was the first time I had ever rode a bike, and I loved it. Instructors were excellent and very patient. All in all, bar a few really daft mistakes I thought I did pretty well. But it was once we got out on the road that I really loved it even more. Not only were the instructors great, but all the other folk there as well were all very friendly, with nobody being a "know it all" or "show off" desoite some having been riding bikes for years. Last Wednesday I did my theory test as well, passing of course On Saturday I picked up my first bike (XL125 Varadero - I wanted a bigger bike hence going for this one), and have been out on it ever since. Looking to do my DAS as soon as possible. I did my CBT and will do my DAS through Bikerite in Rutherglen, Glasgow. Excellent place.
  7. Was gonna go to Knockhill on the 10th, but it's the day I come back from holiday
  8. Saw this at the time. Looked a sore one. Was indeed a great race, though Stoner should have taken it
