Hi all, I'm after a rear shock for a 2008 Ninja 250r, at a reasonable price as watching the pennies as its that time of year, anything out there?

Hi, is it a matter of raising or lowering your suspension that your after, dog bones are a cheaper option

Yes we need to lower, but the shock has had it, so I thought rather than buying dog bones and a shock, just buy a shorter shock.

Hi folks, we have a ninja 250r 2008, we need a new rear shock, is there a shorter one that would fit? The one I took off is 12.5" but want one about 11". Any ideas?

Update, taken the shock off and it is totally seined, so gonna replace

Also had new rear disc and pads, how long before they bed in? It's like there's no brake at all at moment.

Limited on funds what with Xmas, can anything be done to old one? Not familiar with this stuff

Thanks for the welcome Stu, it doesn't appear to have a damper adjuster, just a straight shock, looks like a new one then.

Hi all, we have a rear shock issue on my wife's Ninja 250r.

Even on the lowest notch on the adjuster it's still as rigid and kills your backside over the bumps. Any suggestions?
