It seemed from Sundays grid interviews that he would be staying with Tech3, only reason being that DORNA want a Brit in MOTOGP. Purely political and marketing reasons, nothing to do with ability. He's good, just not good enough.
-
He doesn't deserve a ride in MOTOGP IMO, there are better, younger riders that deserve a shot. Two years in MOTOGP and he's down in 13th Edwards is top privateer and whilst I expected more from him over the years, he deserves to stay more than Tose.

The Corby Glen to Grantham stretch is pretty good with loads of undulations and tight bends but punctuated by a few villages so slow down for them as the police do monitor the route. I would also advise you take it steady first go as some of the bends are quite blind and could catch you out if travelling too fast.

Pop down to your local garage, they will loosen it off in seconds and usually for free, just ride home slowly and change the sprocket there.
-
Had it done in January, the injection is the worst part, will make you wince a bit. If all goes well, you won't want to be riding your bike for at least a week.

Introducing the Lincsrideouts - Lincolnshire Rideout
A route encompassing the best of the Lincolnshire roads and countryside from the North, South, East, West and no more than 40 miles from Lincoln Cathedral at any point.
By covering the whole of Lincolnshire, members all over the county can join at any point along the route, just let me know where you want to meet. The marker system will be used so no-one gets lost, please familarise yourself with the marker system and rideout etiquette if you have never used it.
Starting point - Willingham Woods for prompt 9am departure
The route is approx. 400 miles in length and will take at least 8 Hrs to complete, (excluding breaks).

The problem is, bikers are a minority so no-one will ever take any notice of us. The new traffic monitoring systems in Derbyshire do not only target bikers but all vehicles. The system needs highlighting to all the car drivers that will be monitored too, then it will become more of a political issue.
There must be some human rights law that should outlaw this type of tracking system . The problem is, the goverment will just invoke another anti terrorism act to cover it. We are all being monitored already, internet, mobiles, ANPR, CCTV, Satellite? etc. etc. it's scary.
It's not like we are criminals or anything, perhaps just straying over the (unrealistic, artificially low limits,) now and again is hardly the crime of the centuary.
The only thing to do is either ride to the speed limit, go elsewhere or ditch the bike

I vote for make a stand, what's the plan then
-
I may be at the ace this afternoon will have to see what the rest of the Northwood lot are up to!!!!

Rideout to the Ace from Lincolnshire
The route will avoid the main routes such as the A1, M11 as much as possible stopping at the Ace cafe before heading into the centre. The return route will depend on the time/weather etc. but may involve some parts of the A1.
If anybody is interested, meet at the Grandstand on the A57 into Lincoln at 9:30am can also meet at other points enroute if anybody is going from the South of the county but please let me know who/where/when.
If you're definately coming add your name otherwise I will head off without going to the meeting point.
So anybody up for it ?
Route subject to change
