  1. Now fully working! But I have no idea what to start the bidding at... Any suggestions?
  2. Now updated with better pictures http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2011-Honda-Innova-ANF-125i-Cub-Custom-One-Off-Modified-EBC-Clutch-Blade-Exhaust-/112481432941?hash=item1a306a756d:g:bqYAAOSwF09ZaiHA
  3. Can anyone help with this? For the last couple of weeks I have had some strange electrical problem.. The red FI light has been coming on and off every now and again, when you switch the ignition on the speedo either lights up, goes off then comes back on or doesn't come back on at all. With the ECU disconnected it comes on and stays on, the bike still starts and revs but when you rev it too fast sometimes it bogs down like its trying to die. I'm not entirely sure if its the throttle body or the ECU? Any ideas? If i can fix this bloody problem it would certainly be a lot easier to sell.
  4. I do see what your saying, i'm not totally inexperienced in riding bikes, I have never attempted to sit on my back wheel like most of the people I see and have on camera I'm gonna keep this bike until I get my first years NCB then go for my full test and finally get my dream bike a GK76A Just so I don't end up hijacking this guys thread https://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64250
  5. You don't need a brake light chum. See what I did there? Decreased your electric shiz by 50% in the blink of an eye. Haha good one, but seriously though I have been researching this for last the few days now and I am getting different answers from different forums. A lot of people say its ALL lights working or NO lights at all but then others have said a brake light is required. Some people say a reflector is and some say it isn't. Either way I would prefer to have a brake light than using a hand signal every time I want to slow down as it does raise the question if someone went into the back of me because of no brake light is that my fault?
  6. Nice job you have done there, but if you look at my bike I don't have that much room for any more electrics (well I do but i hardly have any storage space as it is) and I am 99% certain it will end up on a day MOT with just a brake light + horn.
  7. You really think a cheap Chinese usb cable has the additional circuitry to only start drawing current when a device is connected?? I remain hopeful
  8. Linux till I die Given his age, I reckon my Dad'll beat you to it. Well you never know, with half the road users I am coming across lately its probably evenly matched. Its truly amazing how many driver mistakes you notice on a bike..
  9. +1 on the fact if there is not a USB cable in there it shouldn't be converting 12v - 5v. This is what I will be getting: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Waterproof-Motorcycle-Motorbike-USB-GPS-Phone-Charger-Power-Socket-Outlet/152553932410?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
  10. Heated grips are great! Once you try them, you won't go back.. heated grips with thinner gloves is much nicer than no heated grips with huge thick thermal gloves. I probably would agree with you if i tried them, but if you wear the right gloves your hands should be warm enough. Its just something else to break in my eyes, I am a minimalist and always have been. It reminds me of when I was 14 with my first car a mk2 Golf Gti 8v which had no PAS, ABS, E/W or even working door handles half the time for that matter but I would rather drive that today than most modern cars. Its like modern bikes with ABS even though I know in most cases ABS is better for you I have heard a lot of riders say they stop better without it? Linux till I die
  11. Iphone + Headphones + USB Power pack / USB socket mounted to handle bars. Simples! I not to long ago rode from Sheffield to Leicester (avoiding motorways) phone died by the time I got to Nottingham but with a power pack jobs a good un. USB sockets can be had off Ebay <£5 or if your really cheap and can be bothered to wait £1-2 from China I know I only ride a 125 but I think half these bike accessories are pointless! Reminds me of RIpseed products from Halfrauds. No matter what bike I ever get you will never catch me paying for a bike sat nav, heated grips etc etc
  12. Who ever wrote that needs to learn to spell febreze I'm glad to be a Honda rider
  13. Just thought I would share my review on this camera: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SJ8000-2-0-4K-Ultra-HD-170%C2%BA-WiFi-Waterproof-Sports-DV-Action-Camera-Camcorder/162432038393?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Bought it for £27 and for its price its actually pretty good! Comes with Wifi so you can connect it to your phone and control it from there, supports up to a 64gb micro sd card. Only flaw I could really pick out has to be the microphone.. Not to great but as I am usually swearing at most idiotic drivers I'm glad its not that good I will try get a video up soon to show the quality
  14. Gorgeous bike! Any plans of mods or you keeping it standard? I'd advise on an Oxford screamer for about £25 off ebay Have you got a picture of the front? are the headlights a different shape either side? Speed limit in the UK is 70mph.
  15. Hello all! Thought i'd share the first bike I ever built. I'm 26, been driving since I was 13 and spent most of my childhood on the IOM watching the TT every year wanting a bike more and more but was never allowed one! After doing about everything car related I thought it was time to get on one. So I got this bike earlier on in the year from a friend who bought a load off bikes from a delivery company in London, the bike had done just over 54k and was not in the best of conditions. Fairing was broke, keys were lost and the spark plug looked like the original! I don't have any pictures from when I first got it as my phone broke and lost so many pictures.. But so you get the idea this is what i started with: http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpslek3f5ek.jpghttp://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsur5mily9.jpg Due to the high mileage and clear disrespect the bike had over the years I stripped it back to a bare metal frame and removed anything that didn't need to be there like the chain guard, cut and grinded off all excess brackets etc, coated it all in red oxide primer and then topped with matt black. I was never really a fan off the wire wheels and didn't really want to have inner tubes in the unlikely event of a puncture so I spent many nights searching ebay and the web for alternative wheels and stumbled across a bike called Haotian HT-100/Swift and the bike looked near identical so took a chance for £100 bought both wheels the hub and rear brake and low and behold it all fit spot on bar needing a 420 chain type rear sprocket. http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zps4x8utykj.jpg I then opted for Avons AV83 front and rear, brilliant tyre! Standard air box went straight into the bin along with the restrictive exhaust, replaced it with a angled foam filter (bought a red one at first, didn't like it so got a black one) and a second hand Blade exhaust system for £90 also from ebay. Slowly coming back together: http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsunhhrncc.jpg Getting there: http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsaoxwlv9v.jpg Just before MOT: http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsjbnidteb.jpg Yes its pretty hideous I know.. Especially that headlight but I ran it like this for a little while, the day after the MOT riding the bike home it just cut out on me, later realized it was the generator so I replaced that, but as I was putting the cover back on the top of the engine cracked! FML was I pi$$ed off! So i ended up getting that welded back up and also removed the starter motor and had that bunged and welded too. Then after a few months I thought lets do it all over again! http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsayin7roi.jpg http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsseplmye4.jpg Removed the final brackets and the bracket for the key/steering lock (I couldn't keep the key in the original position as it would of made hot wiring even easier. http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsc8psrieq.jpg Made quite a few more changes this time, the original switches were part of the fairing around the speedo, found an all in one off ebay to help tidy things up, a different rear light with the indicators built in, smaller better looking head light. http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsju5tjldd.jpg As this was being done I ordered EBC friction plates, EBC springs and clutch shoes. I did also order some TRW metal plates so it was a complete set but the garage that fitted it for me said they were the wrong ones but my old ones were fine anyway, whilst it was there it had a new oil filter, magnetic sump plug and exhaust studs and bolts. http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zps0ihakuok.jpg (Please excuse the awful quality pics) http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsmnpnn3ek.jpg And all back together =) http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsj9fmzf2i.jpg http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o708/Jamie125cc/image_zpsqrvpo7bn.jpg All the wiring + electrical components were moved into the seat. But other than that I love it! Easily hits 70 and goes just over =P
