1. Lovely day so Walking home (because im fitting fairings)

Coming from a Dual carriageway leading from M1 onto normal roads

One Audi type car and two Sport 1000cc's racing after it at about 90mph (at least) in a 30mph road ......straight through red lights and screeching at the roundabout just past them.....NO REGARD for anyone at all.....they were so fast I couldnt tell what bikes they were apart from sport 1 liter bikes

Either Sunny day warriors racing each other and a car (I Hate those guys, there NOT bikers)

Complete ***** Racing Or the car was fleeing from a Kicking

Either way If I were a Copper and caught them I would expect them all to get a 5+ year ban each

Was looking to see if a cop heli was above but wasnt

  2. I really wanted to prove these things were an option..but I cant ...(not in 10 minutes I cant)....I cant find any that do either now :x

When I was researching Trackers last year there were a few options £300-500 that claimed to tunnel through gps blockers frequencies (like using Linux tuneling protocol to walk through a Firewall)

Im sure I can find residual web pages that prove these manufacturer claims existed ...but I cant be arsed wasting 3 hours to prove these site pages once existed :(

Glad I didnt buy one back then now

  3. They arnt supposed to work in a garage either but mine does,

Some GPS devices do work in metal boxes as they are designed to work if a thief puts the vehicle in a shed with a jammer, they will cost more, but so does replacing your bike

You could ask rewire themselves.their customer service is Outstanding and they will help you honestly and very quickly, they wont push you to buy (unlike some companies) if its not going to work for your circumstances they wont suggest it

They may steer you to a different model ....maybe even a different companies model

  4. Do you know if trackers and alarm can still work off the battery even if the main loom is cut. Providing they are connected to the battery side?

In theory they should work, however There will be No guarantee

    Have a look here https://www.rewiresecurity.co.uk/gps-tracker-car-tracking-devices

I have the 303.its very small ...a little bigger than a Tick-Tack box and houses battery backup, costs me £5 a month with a GiffGaff Sim card

  5. I saw this on the TV news!

    At least they're doing something!

Im all for this, and It is about Bloody Time!

Even If they were not thieves Ive observed some legal moped riders riding dangerously, they seem to think they are in sons of anarchy.

Eventually they will be removed from the Gene pool OR cause death/injury to others

  6. 1 can treats 14-16 gallons

If I remember I used 1/4 of the can per full fill up

You need to pour it in the tank Then add the fuel in One Go at the pump so it mixes

You may notice a little smoke coming from your exhaust, but it dosnt last long, its burning the crap its cleaning

  7. 90mm between bolt holes and they will fit

There is a lot of bikes with them fitted not just triumph ;-)

    90mm sounds right

If I remember I chose the Triumph ones because They were the ones that came up at reasonable cost on ebay and I was 100% sure they would fit

I was following a thread on hayabusa.org ....... unfortunately the site seems to have vanished now

If I remember right I bought them for £60 ish, then changed the seals and put new pads in

I then put the 6 pots on ebay advertised as "just taken off and are filthy! .... but when I get a chance to clean them up price will rise"

they sold for £85 "as is" in a matter of 2 days

and the new owner was absolutely delighted ............even though they were grubby as hell

  8. I'm looking at replacing the Tokico calipers as mine have been troublesome even after a full seal refurb.

I changed my Calipers for Triumph (Nissin) 4 pot ones, and made a profit on selling the Busa 6 pots,

    They make a Big difference

Odd thing is Gen 1 Busa owners want the 4 pot triumphs and the Triumph owners want the Busa Calipers

  9. I would change the fuse.. go to a Halfords. Buy a bottle of Injector cleaner for Petrol engines.. add that to a full tank of SHELL fuelsave unleaded.. and see wha happens.

giving the fuel system a flush with 'cleaners' and cleaning petrol.. isn't expensive and just might work.. at worst the other parts of the fuel system will be cleaned out, fuel lines.. injectors. (or carbs) and combustion chamber.

    Tankbag Do what Gerontious suggests

DONT ...and I cant stress this enough! Dont touch the pump!

Its a huge Can of Worms that will constantly leak and cause no end of running problems once its touched

Most people who do touch it end up changing the complete fueling system because its just such a Bitch!

Just clean it out chemically as suggested and you will be Ok

If normal cleaning fluids dont work for you BG do an amazing cleaner that I actually noticed better performance after 2 Miles !

  10. The Complete Tool in His Big Merc that decided to turn right at a stationary junction on my left hand side knowing I was indicating right

I didnt Rev, I didnt use the horn,

I just pulled in front of him mid junction (ALL traffic stopped) and gave him an Ice Cold Stare for about 6 seconds

He then crumbled and started Apologising

Car drivers can be total dicks!
