  2. On further investigation im guessing the frame has been swapped at some point, the vin plate is gone and the number on the steering head has been filed off however there is another 6 digit number etched into the frame near it, from what ive read online only the last 6 digits are unique the rest is made up from details about the bike, if im right there are only 3 digits im missing: VG5 (yamaha made at MBK) RE0610 (YZFR125 2010) **Three missing digits** and the 6 digit code from the frame anyone know what the three missing digits may be or how i could work them out?
  3. First off i know a lot of this is my own fault but its been a little hectic lately i bought a yamaha R125 2 years ago from a business seller on ebay, its always been a perfect bike but a year ago i moved and didnt need to use it so while i taxed it (was only 15 quid and i didnt know if id be using it again soon) but i never got around to getting the MOT redone. since then ive moved twice and somewhere along the way ive lost the V5, i also havent updated the address details on it, it was only when i went to apply for a replacement V5 so i could tax it that i noticed that the VIN plate is missing. so im now not sure what to do, the v5 was originally transferred into my name fine and i checked it with one of those online services when i bought it to see it wasnt stolen so i assume its a legit bike but without the plate i cant get a log book and without a log book i cant tax it. can anyone let me know where i go from here, am i going to need to buy a new frame and reregister it?
