I wouldn't call retro cruisers eye candy (speaking as someone who has one)! As a commuter the Mutt Hilts (or is it a Hilts Mutt ) looks spot on. Congrats on the CBT, by the way
As a matter of interest, are here many (or even any)? I'm in the north London/Herts area and would welcome the opportunity to poodle around with other peeps on here.
Well, I popped out to Chesham, Bucks today, where a jolly nice chap from AYB gave the bike a good clean followed by a professional (as in pressurised spray gun) application of ACF-50. Great job, actually, and I passed the time by eating a lovely plate of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast, drinking two cups of coffee and stroking the cat that decided to sit on my lap the whole time. All in all, a very good morning!
If you're talking about instruction for your CBT, or for Mod 1 slow manoeuvres, then it makes sense. Having your weight on the outside makes slow turns far more manageable.
Oooh, sorry to hear that - sounds nasty. Best of luck with any future treatment, and hopefully the bones in your leg will start behaving themselves soon. Was the injury a riding one?
Why, have you got helmet hair? Sometimes..... I fancy a blue rinse , will you get one of them big over head driers in it . Just stick your barnet under the bonnet. It get’s nice and warm in there.
Okay, I'll see of there's a cheap BnB nearby and then decide what to do This is obvious but I’ll say it anyway. If you decide to go for a BnB pick one with good parking where your precious bike won’t be left out on the street! Well, I'm booked up around the corner in a hotel with a nice car park. I can cancel up to 22/10 (its with booking.com) so I'll monitor the weather in the interim! Are you two going to be using whatever your bike transport is?
