Any advice on pain whilst riding
learningtofly replied to psionmark's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
The mid controls on my Harley are a revelation. In fact, it's the first bike I've owned that I could literally ride all day without fear of discomfort. -
Lovely ride into Essex for a spot of breakfast this morning, and found myself parked up next to a Road King and an R9T!

Ah, got you. I thought you meant buying as-is, hence the confusion!

How would anyone buy it unknowingly?

Just needs a bit of fettling.

It's had a stage 2 so about 172Nm of torque (in other words, no). 4 years, 4 bikes (excluding the ill-fated month with a Street Twin - that one doesn't count)... this will be no 5, and I reckon I'll have it for a lot longer than a year. I know people who are a lot worse than me, btw

Could be difficult mid-week as I tend to be working till late. If you fancy hooking up one weekend that could be more doable, though.

Another 60 miles on this beauty of a bike today (so the best part of 170 miles since picking it up). I feel like I'm beginning to understand what it's about, the things it excels at and the times you have to treat it with a bit of respect.

No need to be so pernickety!

Thank you very much! I think it's going to be a marriage made in heaven!

I'll just say this - it's a beast.

Lind HD in Watford - the unit next door to Lind Triumph, from whom I bought the Tiger. The Sales Manager for both is ex-Palmers Triumph in Hemel Hempstead, from whom I bought two Triumphs previously (in fact, most of the team there transferred to Lind (presumably under TUPE) when the Palmers dealership closed its doors).

Actually, mine has an S&S exhaust system in black, so don't go retiring just yet

Two more sleeps!
