  1. lmao i would but after shes buying me a bike i realy dont want to ask for more...

If she's already giving you that much what's an extra couple of quid?

Also, I hear there's whips involved lol

  2. My bike is in the garage waiting for some guys insurance to cough the money up to repair it at the moment, hope it's fixed in time :?

I've still not thought of a decent fancy dress either

  3. Depends, it could be a form of restriction like you get on 125s or bikes that are restricted to 33bhp

This would mean it wouldn't actually be able to rev to the red line or anywhere near it and so wouldn't be use it's full potential.

A way to test this if you have a rev counter on the bike is to see if you can get the needle any where near the red line (neutral gear, clutch in to be sure and rev it).

If it reaches red line on the rev counter or near enough then it either doesn't have one or there is no point removing it.

As for how to remove it I can't help there sorry.

  4. I'm planning on going for a nice ride tomorrow evening. Starting at loughboroughh and finishing at 6 hills.

The route I will be doing is on this website HERE

It will be the top half of the top route and I will be stopping at six hills on the second bit wher you go nearby.

If anyone wants to meet up and do the route with me drop me a message or text me. Number is in the contacts section.

  5. I just take it to one of them polish hand car wash places every so often.

Just have to make sure you start it asap after they finish n get rid of the water that gets in the engine.

They do a fantastic job though (well most of them do!)

  6. :stupid: one of the first things I was told about when doing my cbt was of a guy going around a right hand bend and leaning to far and getting decapitated by a lorry. Great confidence boost! I still love both though I'm more confident at leaning over in the lefts.
  7. yep...ive got a pair of sidi's too - cost me about £170, i love them - i think they look great and they are very good for protection too :thumb:

Got the same boots and love them, they're extreamly comfortable though not entirely weather proof, though they're pretty good to say I've never put any nikwax on or anything. Paid £145 at BMF

Before them I had Sidi vertigo boots which I did treat with nikwax once in a while, used them in one of the most server storms I've seen and took them off when I got home to reaveal bone dry feet!

Sidis are really comfortable and will last you years, though the initial depreciation is horiffic.

EDIT: Just like to add just how comfortable they are, I've put them on instead of trainers to go round town before and for looks I've worn them to the pub!!
