  1. That's brilliant dan, only had time for a quick look but looks like the indicators will need replacing as the tape dose very slightly obscure the indicator

Doesn't seem to have anything on fairing or exhaust though

  2. Ok so my MOT is due end of next month so I'm going to be making sure everything is in good working order. There are just a couple of things I'm not sure about and would like advice on.

Last June I had a small off and damaged the exhaust, fairing and indicator.

The rubber seal on the exhaust has been broken and the metal damaged, there is a very small amount of air that come out of the gap, would I be ok putting some sealant or something on this? Failing that is it possible to get a new seal? I don't want to have to buy a new exhaust but I will if I have to.

I think the fairing is ok, it is mainly aesthetics there is no hole in it so I think it will be ok.

The indicator case broke and I stuck it together with a little duct tape so it works fine, though I think it would still need replacing?

Thanks for reading and any advice given.

  3. Turns out chipmunk was only on stage for 3 songs so didn't miss much, though in tune with the thread;

Had a lab session today and found out the morning there was a pre-lab exercise to do and the sheet was only put online yesterday, so had to cram that in only to get to the lab and them to say we didn't have to as they had only managed to upload it yesterday. I got it all right tho so shows I can do it so  f**k it!

  4. What spare Dan? No I won't be plugging it myself, just watched a how to video on YouTube and I'd rather trust someone else to do it!

The garage is about a minute from my house, take about an hour to lose 3psi so I'll be able to get it round there this Saturday. Result 8-) !

Guessing you mean this type of plug?

    ">

These aren't the sort a garage would use and personally I wouldn't trust it. I prefer the idea of having something attached inside to make sure the plug doesn't come out :D

  5. If you've not done any servcing and done that much miliage it wont start I dread to think what a dealer would make of it so try it yourself!

I'd go over it with a fine comb checking everything!

    Break Pads

    Break Fluid

    Oil

    Spark Plugs

    Fork Seals

Tyres (especially this time of year)

    Chain

Need to show it some love :3some: :3some:

Hope your up and riding again soon mate
