Term finishes on the 19th June this year, so assuming im sober enough I'm up for it!

If you end up at any race days where companys have stalls and stuff you can often get free ones, I have a bennets one, had a spare which I'd give you but I lost it last month. An alternative is get some cheap cloth, cut a square 70 x 70 cm approx,fold it in half, cornor to cornor and then tie it around your face. Anyone in the area going? To my knowledge there is me and PhatDad maybe Revvin Kevin depending on weather. I'll be coming from ollerton if anyone wants to meet up, unless someone can suggest a better route from here I'll be taking this route A614 A617 A38 to alfreton A615 to matlock I believe we're meeting at the pond for 1000 1200, though someone might want to double check that oh and there may be homemade mice pies involved

Why not just park in the bit by the road? Are you actually going to be there more than 2 hours? Wish I could go, not had a proper run on the bike in ages...but I'm working this weekend

OMG that's amazing! (The paddock stand as well lol) I wouldn't dare leave my bike on one though, I'd be constantly going back to check it hasn't fallen off lol

Term end on friday then a whole month off but then I have to work to get beer and skydiving funds while revision for the Jan exams and before all that I've got to finish my 25odd page report which I've only done one page for f**k it!!!!

Them videos only show it going on the stands, a strong word of advice for when you take them off. Make sure the sidestand is down!!

+1 on that T! I hate it especially the gusty stuff, coming back from Hull getting off the ferry earlier on this year it was awful no fun fully loaded and two up. Yup defo! Have to ride 50 miles to go home and it takes an hour on a good day. Still do it every other weekend regardless of weather. Can stand rain but not wind. Don't got for a normal ride out in the rain though.

I use shell advance VSX. My Grandad recommended it to me and the bike runs well on it so will continue to do so.

I just use my bog standard waterproofs I bought a few years ago for doing the duke of Edinburgh award. Bought them from youghmans (which are a bit of a rip off normally.) I've road for an hour through rain in them, most of it really heavy rain as well and got home took them off and under them I was bone dry. Edit to add: It your boots aren't waterproof you might want to consider buying some gaiters to go over them.

If you fancy this on Monday morning I may be persuaded to cancel my lay in lol I have to be back for about 12-12.30 though as I have lectures from 1300 onwards Monday My fav route atm If you want it a bit longer it can be extended down to Melton Keynes and come back up the B6006 (which is quite a nice road) Edit to add: I am on a restricted bike so wont be amazingly fast or anything. Edited again to add: at point D there is 'Six Hills Hotel' en route. There is a big bikers meet every Tuesday dunno when they start/stop meeting or if they continue through out the year I dunno, but not many turn up if the weather is crap/iffy Edited a 3rd time lol (I should play my posts better): BBC Weather says it's ment to be sunny monday but raining tuesday.
