does anyone know where i can buy crash bobbins for my yzf r125
i need the cheapest possible and seeing as my dad steals my car to go work and i refuse to take the bus will be on the bike through this snow is there any universal ones which may fit.
thanks in advance mike.

ur ped will be restricted to say 6000 rpm so your engine is less likely to blow up
a new unrestricted cdi would allow you to rev up to 1200 rpm
faster speeds and acceleration just because you are able to rev higher doesn't mean that you have to.
and if you notice these are all 3rd party e.g metrakit and athena ect not aprilia gilera peugeot
-
lets you rev higher go faster i brought one for my 50 but it didnt work
-
oh and no point since your mixing it with oil
-
unleaded normal stuff well at least thats what i put in mine but first time i have put petrol in it
-
thanks don't intend on getting any minors but i was just wondering and i hope the ice is gone too, but i have started skiing lesson perhaps they could come in handy during my test. hopefully its going to be a dry sunny (heatwave) week at the end of jan

Anybody up for a ride out this weekend?
I thought we could start off at Bury hill, then slide all the way down it to a field near by, fall off out bikes then try and stand them up. Fall over again a few times and smash the hell out of our bikes, get really annoyed and start swearing at the snow, then kicking it then having a long walk home leaving our bikes in a ditch somewhere.
Pace will be non existent
Let me know
sounds good what time we meeting
oh and have you got a bike i could use
-
before you buy the bike check you can get it insured. most of the chinese bikes relate to the model number and the importers put there own name on my mates selling his ped for 500 just a bit less than he paid for it but he could have bought the same bike for 500 more with a different name
good luck

as the first step after getting your lisence is CBT there are two important questions to ask instructors
price (£80 - £120)
what does that get you although it is a training course some instructors expect you to pay twice if they cant do there job and train you to a satifactory standard and some will charge you if you fall of there bike and break something.
try and get a instructor who wont charge you over and over week after week
I heard about a lad who was sent away by the instructor and told to get more experience
good luck

i thought this looked ok but couldnt see packet to find out if it was good or not http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/2827_12511.htm

Aldi were doing some on sunday £2.99, they may have the odd one left...? or if you can wait, try egay.
i agree i got 1 from there for that price its good if you fold it twice since its only thin, but then i went TK MAX and they where selling packs of 3 oxford and box ones for the same price so i got them too

not same scooter but all scooters derestrict the same in the transmition
oh and im guessing your 17 making this link ok
-
thanks everyone not exactly bothered what i take test on just now i have an idea of what the test bike will be like
-
i always thought at 17 or any age when going for your restricted 33 bhp licence you had to ride a 500cc motorbike a suzuki gs500 for example but have been told by an instructor that you can take the test on a 125cc and still ride 33bhp any sized bike is the instructor right?
do you take the test on a 125cc (12bhp) or a 500cc (guessing less than or 33bhp)
-
nothings wrong you just have to start riding for 100 yards then press button then they come on. thats what i have to do but then they will stay on (if i want them to) when the ignition is turned off. so try that
-
Who first thought of nodding????
to other motorbikes that is
-
its 2nd nature to me now
have noticed that some dont but it seems to be with the older bikers however i wouldnt have thought it as most do
im not being agest unless its just because im on L`s ?

if geared anything with an minerrelli 2 stroke AM6 engine once derestricted they can hit high speed the more you spend the faster you go this is also the same with an aprilia sr50 scooter fully derestrict and add performance parts e.g. racing clutch k and n air filter you can hit high speeds also if you have a geared bike with a manual choke turn that on in top gear for that little extra boost as well as dipping you head down just try not duck down in public bit stupid considering you will be doing about 50 mph lol and you look like your going for the land speed record and also if geared sprockets :)http://www.adrenalin-pedstop.co.uk/p/14 ... -1551.aspx that site has most 50cc tuning parts (high speed for a ped)
-
if i am correct CBT= compulsary basic TRAINING that means he/she has to give you sufficient training and also just request to use a scooter if you keep stalling worry about the gears afterwards
-
if its easy to remove and put back on then find someone near to where you live and then try it on theres thats what i do with my bike only problem is when you thought you found out whats wrong and test it and it works you get annoyed lol but just check at a local breakers unless they are cheap then buy new:)

for mod1,2 if you can get to leigh I'd recomend russ at school of motorcycling. did mod1 training sunday before my 17th, test on birthday on his bike £60
and mod2 in evenings before test, 3 hour blocks £60 only gives training he thinks you need (use of bike if needed for test - free)
dont know if his prices are still the same
