  1. who cares what he uses them for they could be coat hangers . just help him derestrict it for example do as i do.

    remove cone from exhaust manifold. :) open airfilter pipe and remove blockade inbetween or just make the whole bigger. :)

    go 1 or 2 sizes bigger on front sprocket and go smaller on back sprocket. :) new carb, jets, sports exhaust,air filter :)

  2. got an rs 125 full power waitin till i turn 17. cops around here dont mind how fast your ped can go as long as your not too fast and sensibley and dont speed past them or in general. they just hate pit bikes and off road crossers they dont bother with normal bikes so when im 17 ill be riding my rs :) but tbh i only know one person who has a restricted ped and thats because he is still runing it in.

  3. i just got a 12 sorting my bike out now as brake pads went on metal :o :( i went to 4 bike shops to get this! and is there a 50cc rotax i am sure my bike has a 50cc am6 i was told in a shop that it is rotax i am sure he is confused.

    the 12 tooth sprocket was just in a box of mixed ones biggest they had

    the speedo is front wheel driven.

    and i can leave him for dead over 1/4 mile tbh but want that little more top end for dual carriageways plus i think it will increase mpg not sure tho even if only slightly its there.

    and i dont want to mess with back sprocket as my brother is getting it next year fully restricted i have 2 exhaust (one restricted and one without the pipe in the inlet manifold i think thats where it is but it aint there now :P ) and it doesnt look like too much hard work changing the front sprocket i will be able swap that quickly too.

    also my main consern is scooters claiming 60mph+ not true as i have beaten some doing 43mph they were doing "60" at least with a bigger sprocket i can leave all the scooter boys and put them in there place and tell them to go home and get something resembling a real bike.

    please any more sugguestions?

    i would like too move to a bigger sprocket but only on the front.

    oh and on a website i saw that you can buy a 20 tooth front sprocket and a 20 tooth back sprocket obv i coudnt do that on my ped but is that possible and apart from slow acceloration will it be really fast????

  5. i have a 50cc 2 stroke which is partially derestricted upto 45 mph i was wondering if my bike can pull a 14 tooth sprocket it currently has an 11 tooth.

    my mates has a 13 tooth with the same derestriction and engine but is telling me just to get a 12.

    i am wondering if he just doesnt want me to go faster than him i was wanting a 14tooth but i dont know if i should.

    also i have a 6 speed gear box he only has a 5 speed.

  6. well its had everything done to it fully derestricted with fully derestricted standard exhaust runs ok it has a rave and everything so dno im just gonna leave it until it causes me a problem. i got told by who i brought it off that he cut into the cdi or something to derestrict it thats why the warning light is on. and if i unplugg the cable he said it drops the power alot thats probs how i restrict it but going for test soon as possible

  7. different bike i have to my 50cc what died last night and i picked up my new rs 125 for when im 17 today that had the efi and it is now sorted still on but runs fine no probs we think its cos its derestricted. but on the main subject it is a really basic dash with a speedometer neutral light oil light indicator lights and eye beam dipped light.


    p.s. unfortually can not ride the 125 to wales thats what i get for not being born a year earlier. :(

  8. was running ok. then cut out, thought it was oily plug then noticed no lights on instrument panel, fuses ok, battery to ignition to insruments circuit complete. took instruments off and tried on another bike, checked circuit on ignition barrel ok, stripped bike down all connections seem to be ok, cant see any damage on loom. how do i test cdi unit.

  9. it isnt oil as there is a light for that and a light for low fuel please as i am collecting the bike today and have hered that the efi mean engine fault indicator and at the throttle posistion indicator is wrong or its missing the powervaloue as it is de restricted

    how do you remove an EFI and warning light from the aprilia rs 125 dashboard and what does it mean i know it isnt electronic fuel injection. please help thanks

  11. hi I am using my sons account as i'm not registered

    before he did his cbt we spoke to several instructors, some good some bad.

    best advice given was

    some people think its a test its not its a training course in sections

    you have to complete each section to a acceptable standard before you are allowed to proceed to the next section

    and when you book the course you are paying for a cbt course not a days training (except bike hire) although some say its for a days training

    so if you dont complete the course in one day, whose fault is it, yours or your instructors, I'd go with blaming the instructor.

  12. thats one of the reasons why i am doing the moped test so i know what the full test is like. i have done a bogus insurance quote on a brand new 600cc £750 for tpft and £1100 fully comp which is 2nd hand bike and insurance for price of car insurance :shock:

    i know about the 33 bhp however no one will tell me what it is like so when you know please inform me. also its about 29bhp i didnt have before lol :)
