i used to work at a building firm and most of the office staff were veggies and vegans and you have never seen such a pasty faced looking lot you wouldnt have made one healthy person out of the lot of them , im sticking to eating meat

yea the exact same thing happened to me in the early eighties on a gs 550 i was hopping mad as the bike was new -

On the second service he gave me the full check list - then said that since the bike had come in well looked after there were a few jobs they only needed to check so they didn't charge me for them. They knocked a bit off the bill which they didn't have to do. So I'm happy with them. Can't really fault them on that kind of customer service then, do they give you a golden chalice to drink out of too nah just a cardboard cup

yes you could be right Bob maybe it would be better taking the casing off and having a look seeing as its making such a worrying noise

or if you wanted to be 100% waterproof visit your local builders supply merchant and get a one piece wet suit they work i have one (in navy blue)

it would probably be the release agent on the tyres and they would be slippery as buggery

but do it gently though if the noise goes worse when you are pressing down stop immediately and release the kick start

with the engine running press the kick start down a couple of times and see if that frees anything off

take it back and bend their ear about it

yes that could be more warmer/drier but anyway hope you go on ok with the new gear
